when u see a disser at disney

Two other options I do that weren't listed on this thread...

If you get the LGMH from H/D, you can just slip them as they are into the net sections of your backpacks, fanny packs, etc. where they are visible from the outside....I have a bunch of them, and I stick them anywhere I think they can be seen (but I've never been approached either...).

Also, a lot of the rides' shops now sell, close to the register usually, little tiny styrofoam Mickey heads. I think they are $3-$5. I can't remember now, but last year when I saw them, I grabbed a LGMH immediately.

It's on a keychain type chain, so you can attach it to anything you want, and it says Walt Disney World in white on one side.

I put it on my fanny pack too.

One other thing I added this year is a pin (like the pins you trade) that looks like a CM's name tag and says DISBOARDS on it.

It really is fun meeting others from this thread...

The last two years, we have opened MK and went right over to Big Thunder Railroad to find the paintbrushes.

Both times, we were beat to the rope by ONE FAMILY (a different one each year), and each year, it's a DANG DISBOARD FAMILY!!!

We all had the same idea!!!! It has been hilarious!

I don't know if that will happen again this year, BUT I AM racing Evad at the rope drop at DHS to the Toy Story Mania fastpass machine!

The race is on Dave! ;)

please say "aloha" to me! I can't imagine being across the country and actually may know someone... woohoo! i'll be wearing my LGMH!!

I've run into lots of DISers in the parks. Most have been very friendly and a bit surprised. I did run into a couple when I was there a week or so ago.
I will say that there have been times when they have reacted exactly as cguill said....they looked away as if they didn't want to be bothered. So....my question...if you don't want to run into other DISers, why the LGMH hanging off your backpack?? There is nothing worse than being embarrassed by being ignored or spoken to harshly. And yes, I did have one person say this to me...I saw her many LGMHs, in line at Soarin', I went up to her, and said hi, I was on the DIS also. Her response??? "Yeah? That's nice." and she turned away and ignored me.
But, I still persist in saying hi to other LGMH wearers!!! I love running into other DISers.

Must have been someone from the Community board...

I will rarely stop someone that is enjoying their trip to talk to them but have on two occasions seen someone waiting next to us in a line for an attraction and we did talk then. This was a cool way to pass some time in line and also one of my fav ways to pass the time in line even if the people around me are not Dis members.

I agree, I can't believe someone would go to the trouble of placing LGMH's in their backpacks/lanyards and not want to say hi to another DISer. What's the point of getting them if you don't want to let everyone know and naturally expect others to say hi. "Bizarre!" :headache:

I'm not observant, but if I did notice a Diser sure I'd say hello and introduce myself.

When we suspect we're in the vicinity of a fellow DISer, I'll just say to my wife in a slightly louder than normal voice, "I'm seeing a lot of lime green today, I wonder if there are any DISers here." That will often flush one out.

We will be staying at the POP from Sept. 20th - 26th, my son,( my son is full of tattoos so you cant miss him ) his girlfriend, myself and 2 little girls, will have LGMH on my backpack come up and say Hi.

We'll be there at the same time! I'll be looking for you and the 'tats'! LOL!

I'll have my LGMH on my packs and my door decorated! Hope to see some of you guys there.

Oh, BTW, We'll be the ones with the white haired little girl.

On our last trip last xmas I saw a man holding a backpack with a LGMH on and said hi and introduced myself as being a fellow disser. The poor guy yanked and the LGMH and said " I`ll have my wife when she gets off this ride, this stupid thing is getting me all sorts of attention ".
I must say I did not know what to say after so just walked away laughing :lmao:

I met several Dis-ers on my last trip and my BFF was even looking for LGMH on people. I had mine on my fanny pack and we actually met quite a few people during the week. Usually we were all waiting in line for something, but it was fun nonetheless!

I saw 3 of my friends from the Disney Weddings board!! They actually spotted me!! If I see anybody I know I would say hi. I saw a lady in all lime green on a bus and asked if she was on the DIS...she was.

Dd and I both have a lime green shirt with Mickey on it we got at the Walfarts down there in May. We will be wearing those plus I have made the LGMH, dh thinks we are nuts. Ds wants one too for our trip in May (the kids don't know they are going in Nov, they think we are going to Mexico.)
