When to go in the summer?

Which is better last week in July, or first weeks in August. How can one find out how many conventions will be happening a that time?

I am not sure that there will be all that much difference between the end of July and the beginning of August. Most school (except those that are year round) do not begin until the last week of August or the first week in September.

i agree--summer will be crowded but not humid like WDW

plan to stay on site or close by so you can get there early, go to room in middle of the day and then go back in evening.
