Whats Next for The Polynesian?

With Lilo's Playhouse closing and Tangaroa Terrace still unoccupied what do you think will be next for the Poly?

I imagine that they wouldn't leave two main areas empty for too long? I believe there was some rumor/news of something going on with Tangaroa Terrace but not sure

2 things I would love to see...

• Community Hall for DVC Members
• Signature Restaurant

Any thoughts?

It will make money for Disney what ever it is. Maybe a pay to play lounge like at CCV/BRV.

My bet is on a nice signature sit down restaurant. Both of their signature dining there is kind of loud and family friendly. They can make a lot more money churning people through multiple meals in one evening than they can by renting out a room for a whole day at the same price.

I think the pay-to-play lounge is the most likely candidate. The old Tangeroa Terrace location isn't really ideal for a signature restaurant.

I would imagine they would have to gut Tangaroa Terrace and re-do it.

But they did something similar with Yacht Club with Ale & Compass. Well somewhat similar.

But I do think a pay to play lounge is more likely to happen, especially if its proven to be successful and popular at CCV & BRV.
