Definitely helped when watching Hamilton. We have the captions turned on whenever we’re watching anything on the TV.
Yes! Growing up I know I was expected to, and I’ve heard of people who put them under their pillow for the next night. https://www.cleaninginstitute.org/cleaning-tips/clothes/laundry-basics/do-i-need-washIt always drives me crazy when people on TV sit on their bed or sofa with shoes on. It always squicks me out. But I guess I never realized how ingrained people wearing shoes on TV is because I was watching Episodes (fantastic show btw if you like dry humor) and Matt Leblanc was sitting around his house barefoot and it was so jarring. Like I live in FL, I see bare feet all the time but it was weird and really stood out in that one scene.
Do people wear PJs more than once?
I wear my pajamas 2 nights in a row, unless I get up and lounge in them during the morning, then it's only once, in between washings. I usually toss them on my pillow.I’ve heard of people who put them under their pillow for the next night.

...TP needs to feed over the top or I will switch it because I'm thoughtful and you clearly didn't mean for it to be the opposite way because that would mean you're crazy. ...

Apparently taking my shoes off at the door. Who knew it was weird to want to keep the road salt, sand and mud out of my house?
Yeah, I don’t really know anyone who changes their sheets every single night so not sure why you would have to wear pajamas only once.I'll wear them up to a week if I shower every day and don't get sweaty at night.

Everyone in my family sleeps naked so pajamas are only worn for brief periods of time if at all so they are definitely not washed daily.
Well, it wouldn't be weird in Canada, but I get the impression that taking your shoes off at the door when you enter someone's home in the US can be considered weird. I don't care if you think your shoes are clean. Trust me. They aren't. And no, I'm not just talking about if they are wet or muddy or snowy. I'm talking about all of the time. Now, if you had some medical reason that required you wearing shoes indoors, I would have no problem, but in general, we prefer people take their outdoor footwear off in our home.
I'm one of the people who mentioned people I know expecting to be able to wear shoes in a house, but I did include a qualifier. Everyone I know would remove their shoes, if they had road salt, sand, mud, snow, etc. on them. If they've been walking on concrete, pavement, dry grass, etc, they wipe their shoes on the mat & go on in.Apparently taking my shoes off at the door.
