What would you do - Job Related

I worked at the same Company for 25 years and they closed - went to work somewhere else, small company, me and another girl, we got along great, liked the people I worked for - the family business.

When I was working there I was offered a Town job - everyone said I was foolish not to take it - the money wasn't that much more then I was making. So I took it - and I HATE it - I don't even like the people I work with that much. The other job said they would hold the job for me unless they found someone.

Would you go back or look for something else. Everyone says to stick with the town job - security - but is it worth it to be unhappy? And I have gone in with a positive attitude each day and it just goes down.

Go back to the other place....if they were kind enough to hold your job for you, they must be managed by some good people. I don't believe there is much security in any job anymore, so you should be where you're happy.

I agree with the above posters.There is nothing worse than being miserable at your job.If you had a job that you really like and enjoy the people too then definitely GO BACK!!!
Don't wait....do it now.Hopefully they haven't found someone else yet.

My philosophy is that life's too short to be miserable! go back where you'll be happy. You'll appreciate your "old" job even more knowing what the alternatives out there are.

What's a "town" job? How long have you been gone from the other job?

Well I called the other job that I was at and the didn't hire anyone, and they are very happy I want to come back.

I couldn't sleep at night knowing I had to come to my current job - I am so unhappy.

Plus at the other job I have a little more flexibilty when if I have to leave for my DS, school play or something.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off!
