What would you cut?

I had no idea the pavilions existed! Wonderful tip! I am hesitant to cut too much from the WS since DH is a social studies/geography teacher and will love it. Also Figment. It has been his one request out of the whole trip. It's the only memory he has from his trip as a kid. Too cute.

He's likely to be disappointed, so you may want to prepare him. Unfortunately, Figment has not been well maintained and whole pavillion is a poor shadow of its former self.

Imagination Pavilion is with Figment. I hear you about WS. Also I should mention I don't mean to make it sound like everything should be about what the kids will enjoy, but my family does have a vacation observation that if the kids aren't having a good time then nobody is having a good time ... so when we plan we always make sure that if we have things that are relatively less interesting to kids that they are judiciously sprinkled about instead of lumped in a big chunk. I know people always talk about the KidCot stops but to be honest when younger my kids found them quite boring after the first -- they are basically all color-a-Duffy-bear. There is a lot of shopping in the WS and one thing we've done with younger kids to keep them interested is to do a "dress around the world" tour. Many countries have hats for sale, it's easy to pull one off the top and try it on for a quick pic, also in Norway they've got a fine selection of toy swords and shields, easy to take a quick pose and a pic. Other countries you can also find stuff like that, my kids loved it because it was "make believe" and it makes a great little photo album after.

haha Yes! It has become a joke in the house that we feel as old as the figment ride looks.

My kids go to bed pretty early, and the days we try to keep them up late (Wishes, Fantasmic!), they are begging to go to bed, so we keep our late nights at a minimum. Plus, they wake up early no matter what time they go to sleep. Grumpy kids makes for a miserable day! They also don't care for WS at Epcot, so we try to time that with when they might take a nap and rush through as many countries as we can while they sleep in the stroller. Even with the nap, we haven't made it to Illuminations yet.

Really, you know your kids and what they can handle. And, while it isn't necessary to plan everything around what they like, you probably do want to keep them pretty happy and well-rested for your own sanity!
