We are going february 10-16 this coming year. I have never been in the winter months allways went in june/july very hot. I am trying to figure out what type of clothing we should bring. I know the temp. is not always the same it has been high 60's here when it should be in 30's. But any insight would be great.

We always bring a little bit of everything. Depending on where you are from, Florida's "winter" is downright balmy! Two years ago we had awesome weather in the high 70's and low 80's and wore shorts everyday except one. We brought sweatshirts for the evenings, and on a few days, put long pants etc in a locker for the cooler nights. Our last trip in Feb was not as warm and half the time we wore pants and sweatshirts with a jacket for evening. Be prepared for any type of weather - it means more packing, but less money spent on shirts etc when you are stuck at the park in the wrong type of clothes for the weather!

we are from southern illinois, weather here the past few years have been so weird. Thanks for the help, i will pack that way then a little bit of everything. I just hate having to have all the extra heavy luggage since it will be only me & my 6 year old daughter, my husband is not going as of right now he may change his mind later though. I may just do half & half and just wash a load or two if i have to.

Keep an eye on the weather as your trip gets closer. Then you may be able to get away with not bringing quite so much. A light jacket and/or sweatshirt for each person is a must, as are long pants (jeans/khakis). Orlando weather is so variable. It was 60-70 degrees during the day when we visited in February. Evenings were a bit chilly, but not freezing. We did swim, but it was not the best for that, IMHO. Check on the 10-day forecast on weather.com. It will be helpful.

We've been down to Disney twice, both times in Feb, and we're going this Feb. I like it because the crowds are low, and being from Canada , it's a much needed break by then from the blowing snow, ice, etc. What I usually do is layers for the girls. T-shirts and shorts, with a wind suit over top.For myself, I do capris with a T-shirt and a zippered hoodie. I can put whatever's needed in the locker when it gets warm , and if we stay right through til night, then we pull it out of the locker and we're set for the night without having to go back to the room or buy anything.

We have gone twice at that time of year in the past 3 years. And if I have learned anything, it's be prepared for anything. In the same trip we have had 78 deg and swimming and lined coats with hats and gloves. Layers are a must. I do have to say that it did not rain at all.

We go every year in February and you are never quite sure what to bring. So you bring a little bit of warm clothes and colder clothes. It helps to layer the clothing or go back to your room to change. If it gets below 50 degrees the transportation buses stop running and this has only happened to us one time. It was soooo cold for someone from the desert. LOL. It is always goood to have a jacket no matter what time of year you go because the nights are always chilly. enjoy

I'm from the South. Florida weather is pretty close to the same as here in La. You will have to check the weather right before your trip and bring a variety of items. It can be in the 70's & 80's during the day then drop to the 50's-60's at night sometimes. The weather changes by the hour down here.

Not sure where you are from but to most of us here in the south, 50-60's feels like freezing!! We are going the same week you are, actually! I will be bringing clothes that I can layer so that I can switch it up at a moments notice. :thumbsup2

I have underpacked and needed to buy a sweatshirt or hoodie at WDW. These have turned out to be among my favorite souvenirs, because they were something I acutally NEEDED and USED, and USED AGAIN!

BE WARNED: You may be able to find hundreds of styles of shirts in WDW, but woe is you if you are in need of pants! Trust me.

This is so true - :rotfl2: We went 2 times in Feb once it was a little on the cool side and MIL had only 1 pair of pants and we had no car - There's no place to buy pants or sweats for adults at Disney
