ok, little dilema.

Just prior to my add on (couple of weeks ago) I had difference in point balance then MS had on my current accounts. I asked them for a Points Activity Statement, which I just recieved.

Apparently there was an error in a banking total that allowed two, yes I said TWO pts to expire from a DEC '01 use year. Now I say error, but I feel it was not mine.... and here is why.

I planned a big family trip in DEC of '02, it took the combination of 3 use years ('01, '02, '03). Once I figured what was going to be needed, I calulated what was left and in Jan of '02, did a short get away, and banked the rest as needed happened to be on the same day as booking the short get away.

As I made teh Family VACA palns, points were generally taken as needed from borrowed and banking years. This left me with a balance in '03 of two pts.

Which led me to search for a resale due to the tough time my wife had with withdrawls from not being able to "go home" anytime soon and the expiration of 2 pts that somehow were left behind.

Now, to make a short story longer......... if I inquire, and ask it to be looked into, as I again feel I am not at fault, will this act as my one time grace period?

whewwwwwwwww........
thank you for your time and input.
T.

If all you're talking about is two points, I wouldn't take the chance of using the "grace" period. You might have a greater need in the next 39 years or so. But, that's just my thought.

What is the "grace period"? This is the first that I have ever heard of it.
