I tried to log on Saturday, but the Dis was down at the time. It was a cold and very windy this day, but very enjoyable.

Yesterday was very windy as well, but not as bad as Saturday. Still cold. Weekend highs were only in the 50's. Low's in the 30's. I guess winter wasn't done with us yet. At least not the cold temps.

Today it's still cold and breezy. Well cold for this time of the year. 8:15 am and it's only 26 degrees.

Good Saturday Morning Weather DISer's!

Sorry, I have been MIA and it is simply because the DIS BOARDS is just way to slow for me. I am on many forums and this is the ONLY one that takes anywhere from 1 minute to 5 minutes to load anything.

I simply do not have the patience for that … while I love it here on the DIS … there is definitely something wrong with it. At first I thought possibly my computer but we bought an iMac 6 months ago AND then I thought it was my hi-speed but we have the fastest that TW offers. Combine all that with the fact that every other forum including FB just comes right up the minute I hit it … I have decided it is HERE.

I have noted other threads on here where DISer's will often ask … 'why is this forum so slow' … thinking it was THEIR computer …

Now sometimes like today it was under a minute to load the DIS… SHOCKING!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know why it appeared I just dropped off posting here.


BRIGHT SUNNY DAY IN THE OC! 10:18am. HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

This is the same reason I haven't been here much lately! Everything is running so so so slow, I can't stand it. At first I thought is was my computer, nope not that.




Well it's be so nice around here mid to high 70's, we even hit 91 on monday!!! Yesterday was 81 and they say today should be in the low 70's, I will take that. The norm for this time of year is in the 50's.


It's 8:46a and 48 degrees, and SUNNY!


Oh and we changed the top on my Jeep this weekend, took the hard top off and put the soft top on

Thank you Anna and Sue. It was windy and cold that day. Weather has warmed back up a little. Not as windy today, but they say they will crank up later. Tired of the wind already.

We switched our hard top to soft last Friday..... it's been off every since.

Another lovely day here a bit cooler but all of the windows are open. About 63 and sunny!

It's rainy outside Atlanta today, which makes a nice break because it's been hot lately. Plus, I'm inside working on research papers, so it's totally okay with me that it's raining.

Our weather has been absolutely delightful! Well, if you like abundant sunshine and temps in the 90s! Today it hit 93 degrees in Tucson. We spent the day up in Phoenix where it hit a high of 97.

I am loving the high temps...mid 90s all week and 98/99 by the weekend.

Of course, after months of 100+ degrees this summer, I'm sure I'll be ready for cooler temps!

Kind of overcast today. We need rain really badly, not happening until Sunday. It's only 54 but can't complain after the nice days we just had.

Lovely day here in Metro Detroit so far. Sunny and 68°F right now with a high of 71°F. Looks like a little rain is about to move in, but nothing too heavy. I'm hoping we don't get any soakers today and tomorrow, because I have a ton of yard work to do!

They are doing some weird things then, cuz yesterday I was able to breeze through the boards without a problem. Seems it's been back to normal for me anyways.

Winds have finally died down and the temps are climbing. Should be back in the 60's today.

9:52 am and it's already 54 degrees.

We are off to my BOSTON today for 10 days! We will be in RI and MA and ME!

DH had business in Boston so I am tagging along!

Bright sun, 68 degrees! Hit up DL last night and just did not want to leave, the weather was just so fabulous and the crowds were minimal!

Hey, have fun back East! We're going for a few weeks at the beginning of November, flying into Boston and spending time in Connecticut and Maine.

We are very excited for our trip to Disneyland in June! Can't wait to see BVS and of course, Cars Land! Our daughter and son-in-law took our grandkids on a road trip recently, up to the Grand Canyon, and they also drove from Winslow, Arizona to Kingman, checking out places along Route 66. They thought it would be fun for Carter to see the real Route 66 before heading to Cars Land.

Can't wait. Seen a few videos about the new rides. Getting excited to go. I think I'm more excited to go to DL than WDW.

I saw the thread about the Coca-Cola/Fry's instant win game (for California and Arizona residents) and I tried it last night. I won one of the Cars Land merchandise prizes. Not sure what it is yet, but the e-mail said I'd receive it approximately 8-10 weeks after the promotion ends. Not a big prize, but I'll take it! The park hopper tickets would have been nice!

We're being invaded by moths. They seem to be everywhere. The weather has been nice. No wind, sunny and unfortunately; still DRY. We've been in the 80's all weekend and most of this week. Won't last long though, winds are supposed to return tomorrow and cool back down into the 70's and 60's during the day, 40's at night.

Right now it's lovely outside. 8:45 am, no wind and it's currently 57.

DW and I are going to buy the Southern California City Pass. Take a day trip to San Diego to Sea World. Make up for last April's trip where it turned cold and windy on us about half way through the day at Sea World. Sneak on up to Universal Studios as well. We'll be there a week, so going to make the best of it. Who knows when we'll get back again.
