I am very excited to have officially booked our flight to Paris for next September! We plan to arrive at DLP on 13 September (a Sunday) and stay until the Friday. Yes, I know it's a long time, but we like to be able to take our time. I have stayed for 5 nights before (many years ago) so I know what I'm getting into
Our travelling party consists of myself, DH and DH's 90 year old grandmother. Grandma is mobile, but may struggle with the amount of walking required, so we do intend to travel with a wheelchair for her. She may not want to visit the parks every day, and may spend a bit of time at the hotel/in the room.
DH is pretty keen to share a room, but I would need somewhere with separate bedrooms to feel more comfortable. Davy Crockett is the only suitable Disney accommodation, and we all think it looks like a lovely place to stay, but I'm not sold on the transportation issue. We would be happy to use ubers to get around, but not sure how reliable/expensive that might be. For me a major part of the appeal of DLP is the walkability and the idea of being able to just wander back to the room during the day, not have to line up for transport etc. But the only way that's not going to be an issue is if we stay onsite, where the room size will be an issue, so I figure we may as well at least get the Disney perks.
Or should I just put more effort into convincing DH to get connecting rooms at Cheyenne?
