What resort would you not stay at again?

Personally, I won't stay at Carribean Beach Resort again, but it gets rave reviews on here all the time. It was just too big, too crowded, and didn't live up to the hype for me.

Non so far. I have stayed at CBR & Pop. Both fine. As for the CBR , you MUST ask for the prefered room otherwise your stuck in nowheres land. If i had to pick a resort NOT to stay in it wold be Fort Wilderness. WAyyyyy to big. Friend of mine said they wished they would have rented a golf cart to bet to the buses & boats.

To be fair I was really really sick when we stayed here, and it has some bad memories for me.

I will never stay at All Star Movies again. The other All Stars and Pop are ok.

If you're talking DVC resorts, I wouldn't stay at AKV Kidani again. We had a beautiful dedicated 2 bedroom room but it was the furthest one away. It was just too far from anything. It felt like it was 10 minutes from the lobby area...Some of these resorts are just getting too big and spread out. :confused3

If you are talking about regular resorts as well, :scratchin there weren't any that were too bad. At CBR, we were in the rooms closest to Port Royale so we didn't mind that stay or the size of the resort.

I guess I'd even stay at AKV Kidani again as long as our room was closer..:upsidedow

This should be moved to the resorts board.

There honestly isn't a resort I would never stay at again, but I would never do offsite again.

Agreed! I would never stay off-site!
I've stayed at All-Star Movies, Wilderness Lodge, Caribbean Beach, Beach Club, Bay Lake Towers, and Old Key West. I would stay at all of them again, and again, and again...

If you mean DVC resorts, we wouldn't stay at BWV. It was a been there, done that moment for us.

I'd happily stay at any DVC resort again. :goodvibes. Even though I have favorites and not-favorites, I'd be happy at any of them if only one was available.

I would not do mods or values. We loved the mods before joining DVC and booked CBR and POR since (for weekends). Just not that impressed, both seemed to have poor upkeep compared to DVC and, oddly, the standing ac units bugged me.

I have no problem staying at an offsite 5 star if the price is right. :goodvibes The Grand Cypress is amazing. :cloud9: Gaylord Palms and the Peabody are great too!

I could be forced to stay at most any WDW resort without objection. :rotfl2:

If "I'm" choosing & paying, I would probably not go back to WL. I haven't stayed in the villas there, but the decor of the rooms in the hotel are just too dark & woodsy for me. I love the soaring lobby & Artist Point is one of our favorite restaurants, but the rooms just don't do it for me. We were even upgraded to concierge when we stayed there. :confused3

Maybe it is because we have family in the Seattle area & used to go up there frequently.....when I go to Florida I want to think of sunshine & beaches.

You should give AKV another chance. I hope you enjoy your next stay better than last time when you were sick. :goodvibes

Can not say anything about the DVC villas, our 1st stay is next Sunday at our home resort of BLT. But, I will never stay at an All Star resort again. I was a ALL Star Sports 3 years ago, with 3 sons and me and the room was just too small. We were so uncomfortable in the beds, too small. One of us took turn sleep on the floor. Never again.
This is one of the reason we bought into DVC. We are a family of 5 and we need space.;)

It will be a long time before I *choose* to stay at the Jambo house villas again. Or Jambo on cash for that matter. Apart from my son's enjoyment of the animals as we walked the miles and miles to our room, I didn't get one bit of joy from that stay. Oh wait, the lobby was pretty, and Sanaa was good. But I can experience those without staying there.

If I have a choise I would probably not go back to SSR (main section), but I would want to try the tree house villas tho.

Honestly I would never stay at any of the All Stars. The rooms I've gotten have never been kept up well. If I have to stay at a value it would be Pop.
As for DVC resorts, there isn't one that I would never stay at but I tend to steer clear of SSR. The refillable mug station is just too far from most rooms and I REALLY love my Coca Cola!!

SSR seemed to spread out. We were in the Carousel section and the walk to the food court and gift shop was too long. ASMu was too noisy, but we had a room overlooking the pool. We loved CBR and CSR -- they were quiet and easy to get around. Our favorite, of course, is Kidani. We have been happy with our savannah and standard view rooms.

Probably won't stay at BWV again unless so family member really wants to stay there. Have done it twice and it just wasn't our favorite. Part of it was the parking situation and walk up the hill and the long inside halls. The other would be VWL again the inside halls and really the views from the balcony just remind me of home where I can look out at the woods from my dining room and kitchen. I prefer something different on vacation. There was nothing wrong with the rooms or service at either - they just didn't give me that want to come again feeling.

My DH will not stay at BWV again. It's surprises me because Epcot and DHS are his favorite parks. We had a car that stay because my DD was pregnant. Did not like the walk from the parking lot, and even though we had a standard view (which I loved) near the stairs, it just did not work for him. It's the "hotel" feel he didn't enjoy at all. My DDs and I were disappointed because we wanted to add on points there. I'm sure my older DD and her DD will give BLT at least once. That's her kind of decor and it's close to the MK.
