"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We attended the Sunday (12-7) Party. It was a torrential rainstorm! We did see firworks, but the parade(s) were modified significantly.

It was cold and we were wet, but every ride from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am was a "walk on."

We closed down the party at midnight with frozen, wet shoes. To our suprise we were provided 1 Day Park Hopper tickets after receiving an alert on the app.

Question about fireworks. We don’t want to find a spot and wait. Is there any chance of getting a spot on Main Street as they begin? Or what other locations might we be able to see them at last minute?

We have easily done this in the past but we were not able to do it this year. We arrived as the fireworks were starting and the closest we could get on the hub was a partial view partially obstructed by a tree. We were on the Adventureland side.

I wonder if you might be able to watch from the Tomorrowland bridge. We found a spot there last year after the fireworks had started, but the crowds seemed lower at that party.

I was thinking the same thing. Feel so bad for people with tickets to tonight’s party. It’s been absolutely pouring and thunderstorms for hours. Can’t imagine the stage show or parades will happen and possibly not the fireworks either? (Only my guess)

((Hugs)) to those affected.

Appreciate the good thoughts - we were there, stayed the entire night. We went prepared with ponchos and umbrellas, managed to keep our midsections dry (which made a huge difference in the ability to stay warm). I purposely wore Keen sandals which could get wet, no socks needed, and good traction. Made wading through the puddles in Tomorrowland easier.

I heard they did a Cavalcade of Characters for the parade - fireworks were able to go off (rain had stopped for a chunk of time around 10pm). Not sure if they did a second Cavalcade.

We had tickets for tonight, the party was cancelled due to the weather. Huge thunderstorms!

I am so bummed, but to be honest we had decided to skip. It has been absolutely pouring all evening and the parades were cancelled last night due to weather.

We were given a 1 day park hopper ticket to be used within a year.

DH and I already have a trip planned with friends for October 2026, so it takes some of the disappointment away. Now to decide if we want to try MNSSHP. 🙃

Party most definitely not cancelled - we were there, stayed till closing. Cookies still being handed out, rides that could operate still going. By 10pm almost everything was walk-on.

Was it the party we hoped for? No. But we went in knowing the weather would be less than ideal (though didn't realize how bad until we were in it) and were determined to make the best of it. I think with that attitude, we found plenty of ways to laugh about weather we couldn't control and made the most of a pretty low crowd situation. We left with party memories for the ages.

We had also gone to Jollywood Nights the day before, also pummeled with rain, but stayed the entire night and found ways to make the magic. We laughed hysterically at the waterboard experience of Slinky Dog Dash...

How quickly are the lines moving at 4? We are only attending MVMCP on 12/14 so we won't have a theme park ticket. I was able to get a Beak & Barrel at 4:35. Is that doable? TIA

These seem like a solid recommendation!

We were just at WDW from 11/26-11/29. We had a 2 Day Ticket valid starting 11/27. We had MVMCP tickets for 11/26 and Jollywood Nights tickets for 11/29. Staying on-site DVC.

A week out I booked LLMP and LLSP for 11/27 and 11/28. After I did that I figured I’d see if I could purchase LLMP for 11/26 and 11/29. I could. Paid my money, made LL reservations for 11/26 between 4pm and 7pm (for day of our MVMCP) and LL reservations for 11/29 between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Group of 9, went off without a hitch and all LL reservations worked. Was nice getting into MK and Studios at 4pm and 5:30pm, respectively, with LLs in hand to do some attractions with no wait before the parties officially started.

I’d follow Aussie’s advice and book your regular admission LLs first, then see if the system will let you purchase for any party days you have. Worked for us!
I just tried this as well, for our trip on 12/19-12/23. We have a 2 day PH pass and MVMCP tix for 12/19.

Booked LLMP for 12/20 and 12/22, with no issues.
Then went back and booked LLMP for the 4-7pm time frame on 12/19 (our MVMCP date) and the system allowed us to book several MP as well as a SP for 7 Dwarves Mine Train.

So as of right now, we have Lightning Lanes booked for 4-7pm on 12/19, all day on 12/20, and all day on 12/22.

Hoping everything goes smoothly!

Odd - our dates are similar, with 2-day hopper and planned park days on 12/21 and 22 but arrival 12/19 with MVMCP that night. but our booking window starts tomorrow 12/16.

I am glad you were able to attend! I honestly thought it was cancelled based on the push notification we received.
