What really popular show irritates you?

I don't watch much TV at all, but I can't stand even the commercials for Fear Factor. I can ignore most other shows that bother me, but you can't escape those NASTY ads! Gross, gross, gross!

I absolutely cannot stand Fear Factor and COPS. DH loves both of these.

I agree about disliking the "fat guy with the cute wife" shows like King of Queens, According to Jim, and Still Standing (although the wife is more obnoxious than cute in that one).

All reality shows except Apprentice and America's Next Top Model. Not that these shows are my favorite, but I can sit and watch them causing no pain to me.

Gosh, I hate Fear Factor.

Oh, I hated the Nanny. Her voice made me want to throw up!

And Wings. What's up with that on Nick at Night?

It's just so weird, and the surgery scenes are so disturbing. It's like some kind of a "Twilight Zone" episode to me.

Reality shows (from American Idol to Survivor and beyond). It all plays to the lowest common denominator, which adds to the dumbing down of America.

I REALLY can't stand soaps, either. The acting is bad. The scripts/plot lines are stupid. And, the dialog is just embarrassing (at least it should be to the writers).

I refuse to watch the Dr. Phil show. DW watches it every day and I can't beleive the people who go on that show. Dr. Phil is extremely annoying, as well.

ITA---he has a couple of cliche catch phrases that he uses over and over--and that's it. He LOVES himself too much.

Also, since I have boys, any imported cartoon that involves buying hundreds of trading cards that ultimately end up all over my floors.

Yes! That drives me crazy too. And what's up with the boring topics lately? Seems everytime I turn it on, they're discussing something really dull - like the finer points of watching grass grow or something.

Friends and Frasier for the last several years - they just didn't know when to leave!

Once they started with all of the Law and Order versions, I can't stand to watch a single one anymore.

However, I still love Seinfeld and laugh at it every single night before I go to bed. Maybe the closer you are to New York, the more realistic and funnier it gets?

King of Queens, I absolutely cannot STAND this show. Also, Dr. Phil, The Practice, and a few others. The ones I do like are Malcom in the Middle, and Raymond, even though the majority of you all hate it, I still do watch it. I also HATE Survivor now, and that used to be my Fav. American Idol I am getting tired of too. Pretty soon I will be like Dan, and watch History Channel and Discovery.

The Honeymooners - That old classic. Is the line "to the moon with you ...." suppose to be funny? I see that relationship as verbally abusive. JMHO
