What month did they come out with.....

It seems the last few years they have come out with a great plan. First it was the stay 7 days pay for 4 then it was stay 7 days pay for 5 and then last year it was the free dining.

What month did they anounce those?

Want to go to Disney this year but I want to see if they come out with anything good this year.

Unless someone has heard something they would like to share with the class

When we got the 5+2 deal in 2004 I don't remember when it was announced but I do remember that it had to be booked by the end of June. However, it's doubtful they will offer such a deal this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though because that would mean we can upgrade from standard to WV at YC.

I booked the Fairytale Package in 2003 in May of that year for an October vacation.

I remember the 7-for-4 Fairytale Package being released in early May 2003. Our trip was in October 2003.

I don't remember when the 5+2 DreamMaker Package was released in 2004 but I'm thinking it was around May also.

Disney didn't offer any packages like this in 2005; they went with the free dining offer instead.

Last year, free dining was announced around June 1st. It was for bookings for mid to late August (can't remember exact dates) thru October 4th check-ins.

Not really sure if they will be running any of these specials this year because they have been so booked and people are booking VERY far in advance. The reason they run those specials in the past was because they were slow. Disney has not been slow since this past October. So I really would not count on the "Free Dining" or free nights to come along.

We did the 5+2 when that came out. Was hoping they might do the free dining again this year since they did 2 years in a row offering free days.
Either way we are still going!

We have discussed going back for a long weekend, just my husband and myself if they do "free" anything! After the horrible hurricanes again last year, I'll bet they offer something!!!
