What makes Disney special ??

I'm thinkimg abot taking a cruise in 2004.....but...
What makes Disney Cruises special from other cruises ???
Is it just for families, or could a single gal like me enjoy it ??

I never thought I would say this - but in this case, I am not sure Disney would be my first choice.

We LOVE Disney and would never cruise with anyone else, but we're a Disneyholic family with young children. We think that Disney cruises have the same magic as a trip to WDW.

But, were I a single person, I might be tempted to go on a Carnival "party cruise", but that also depends on your lifestyle.

I don't want to get too personal here, but depending on your age and your lifestyle; whether you like nightlife and the singles scene, etc. should be some determining factors.

Disney cruises definitely are family oriented. DW and I would still cruise with Disney even without our kids, but again, we're Disneyholics!

What things are you wanting to do? What things do you NOT want to experience? Maybe I can give a better recommendation if I know what you're after!

My dh and I do not have kids and have cruised DCL 3 times. We LOVE it!!! And yes, if you want a "party atmosphere" you will get it!

We stayed up and danced, drank and partied at Wavebands every night. The adult activites are awesome and the cast members are a ton of fun.
We loved the atmosphere and really loved the spa!

Also, DCL does a GREAT job keeping areas designated for adults only.

JMHO, but DCL is special because they make you feel special. Your wish is their command and they really are having fun too!
We have meet some great cast members onboard, some of who we still email!

DCL is the best way to go, IMHO.
