What is your proximity to WDW?

have made the trip several times

Pedro says " Welcome Home!".:) :cool1:  :yay:

Beware of state troopers aprrox 20 to 25 miles in Va prior to reaching NC state line.

About 1100 miles north in PA!! We drive every time...17-18 hrs.:)

we live on long island ,ny

about an 18 hr drive we only did this drive one time, wasn;t bad at all
did it in 2 days. I believe if we had to we would do it again.

we fly out of islip airport (I live about 15 minutes away) it takes us about
2 1/2 hrs on southwest airlines to arrive in orlando :cool1: .

prices aren't too bad with southwest the most we ever paid was
$125 each way and this was for this past April for my disney cruise.

We are going down in less than 3 weeks and paid $89.00 each way started at $105 each way but with web specials and southwest ding specials I saved some extra money for next years trip :thumbsup2

We live about 1200 miles north of WDW - in western Michigan

It is about a 21 -22 hour drive.

We are about 4500 miles from WDW, approximately 13 hours flying.

I bought dvc so our families (both sets of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) could stay with us when we visit the lower 48. I love my family, but I don't consider sleeping on someone's couch a "vacation." Now everyone meets us at WDW.

We live in Minnesota. It's about 30 hours if we drive and 3 1/2 if we fly.

San Diego here! We do own, and love, some great "drive-to" timeshares. When we finally bought DVC, six years after our first "tour," we intentionally purchased fewer points than we needed for a typical stay. This strategy allows us to skip a year (going every-other-year) if needed. We have used our points for a 3-night stay at the Grand Californian (nice!) and look forward to a DVC at that location.

A "little DVC" is a nice addition to our collection of mostly drive-to destinations.

We're in Idaho, about 3000 miles away.

Another Idaho DVC member here -- way, way too long to drive and about 8 hours travel by plane. We go to WDW once every two years and DL at least once a year, sometimes twice. I love my DVC because I can get nicer accommodations than what I could afford to pay for cash. Some people think that using your DVC points for DL isn't the best use of points until GVC is built but it works for us!

We're from Louisiana.. about a 12 - 13 hour drive to WDW. We normally drive halfway....

We live just north of Atlanta, GA. We always drive down, and it takes us about 7.5-8 hours including stops.

We live in Maine and love being DVC members even though we haven't used it yet - our first DVC trip is to VB this October ... less than two months now!!!!

Central Iowa Residents here. We take two days driving: 13 hours the first day and about 8-9 hours the second for a total of around 1300 miles or so.

Upstate New York..about a 19 hour drive-once! We now fly from here or drive 4 hours south for cheaper flights out of Baltimore when vacationing with friends or without them. (2 hour 10 minute flight) Gotta love Southwest airlines out of BWI, can't touch those rates out of any airport in upstate NY.

Looks like you get the prize for the US citizen furthest away so far!
:cool1:

We live in western New York State and it is a 24 hour drive for us. Flight if you shop around around $200.00 RT per person. We have never regretted buying into DVC and are looking to add more points. This year we will have gone 3 times by October. :wizard:

we are in Ontario Canada thats about a 24 hour drive from Disney, we try to go to Disney about 2 times a year and stay for 2 weeks 1 trip and 1 week for the second trip but we would not trade it for the world we love our dvc :thumbsup2
