What is your proximity to WDW?

WE LIVE IN MD....by plane 2 hours by car.....TOO FAR. LOL We fly. We have only driven once and that was years ago and it was toooooo long.

About 950 miles (Baltimore Area) :drive:

Northern Indiana here...2 hour flight for me if I can get the non-stop to Sanford. Otherwise, it's about 5-6 hours with connections on the majors.
:scared:

I would never drive it * I don't have the sanity for a 15 hour drive!

I SOOO wish I lived within 2 hour drive of WDW! That would be da bomb!!
Anyone in Jacksonville want to adopt a grown up??
;)

Hello everyone! I'm a newbie here and on the fence about whether or not to buy a DVC timeshare.

My question is do most DVC owners live close to WDW?

We are a family of four and live in Southern California about 20 minutes from Disneyland. We are annual pass holders and visit DL quite frequently. However, I don't know if we'll be able to fly cross country to Orlando every year in order to make our DVC purchase worth it.

If we lived within driving distance there wouldn't be a problem. (or at least that's what DH says, LOL)

Thank you!

-Josie

1075 miles from home to "home"

Northeast Indiana. A two hour flight from Indy or I guess about an 18 hour drive.

Do you ever fly Allegiant out of Fort Wayne then? I LOVE Allegiant out of South Bend! Non-stop rules!!!! (although they messed with the schedules and are a little less desirable times from here beginning in October)

We live 1182 miles from WDW, or about 19.5 hours. That's just too far for us to drive, as I am the only driver in the family - - YIKES! The other thing is I am not used to city driving - we live way out in the boonies where cars are few and far between. Flying is the only way, well, the only safe way, to go for us!

we are about 950 miles to the world:)

a flight now costs about 175-200$ r/t

We live 1702 miles from Walt Disney World, 1530 miles from Disneyland (as the crow flies, for both). Either trip is two connecting flights. At least we have an international airport!

We're in Melbourne, FL--about 65-70 miles from WDW.

FWIW, when I make reservations, I usually have to remind MS when they suggest using ME that there are no flights from Melbourne to Orlando. :rotfl:

We usually visit our home at OKW 2-4 times per year.

Prior to FL, we were in the REAL Saratoga Springs in Upstate NY. Even so, we usually managed at least 2 trips per year.

We live in Louisiana, about a 750ish mile drive. Takes us about 11 - 12 hours to drive. I think that is because I have to make too many stops :lmao: :lmao: .
Sometimes we drive, sometimes we fly. It depends on how many days we are staying.

Less than 3 miles from Toontown.

Stoney Creek Ontario, Canada about 1/2 hour from Niagara Falls. Too long of a drive for us ( 24 hours straight through ) so we fly out of Buffalo.

956 miles from Disney... 15 hours... we drove it a couple times, but I prefer to get there quick.. hope they invent a stargate or something so in the future I can walk through something and be there instantly!!:rotfl:

Just a short drive from Jacksonville to WDW. For weekend trips, we pick up DD after school and are at our SSR home in time for Dinner.

We live about 45 mins. north of Boston, so the flight is about 3 hours. We have never driven, but someday a road trip might be fun:confused3 ?!
