Saw this somewhere and was curious as to what it was.

Thanks,

Pam

It's a little show where Goofy, Chip and Dale, Woody , Jesse and Bullseye all dance with the kids to country music. My DD4 and DD19 mos loved this. They don't do autographs but do dance with the kids. It was a lot of fun for kids.

This is a don't miss if you have a Toy Story fan who likes the characters other than Buzz. DS (2.5) still talks about dancing with Woody. It was one of the highlights of his trip. Be sure to have your camera ready as they move around quickly. Unfortunately I wasn't fast enough and missed out! Just be warned that you do have to stand for 14 minutes of the show, so don't count on it as your afternoon rest.

This is held in the former Horseshoe Review building in Liberty Square (right by LTT).

We went in Dec (it was a special holiday show version) and if you want to sit in a chair, you need to head in early, go upstairs and you can sit by the railing. Otherwise you will sit on the floor downstairs. The kids are encouraged to sit down front.

The characters do come on the floor and lead a dance or two - like the Electric slide. The kids (big and little) are asked to join in. So, if you want to avoid the dancing, sit toward the back wall!

Am sure times vary with time of year but we were there late May and it was - about every 1.5 to 2 hours......

We saw it for first time, my youngest is 11, and they were totally bored with it. Very cute if your kids are young and want to dance with the characters.

Do they show the Christmas version all the time in December or just during MVMCP? I might be able to skip this during the party and get to it during a regular MK day if it is showed from the beginning of December. Anybody know? Thanks!

I have never heard of this. It sounds like fun, we'll have to check it out next month. Thanks! :)

I wandered into this show while DH was at a sales meeting and I was by myself in the MK this past February. It is definitely for kids, but I had alot of fun watching the little ones having a great time dancing with Woody, Jessie, Bullseye, Chip & Dale, Goofy, and the "Sally Starr-like" female singer/host of the show. They were teaching the kids how to line dance. It was really cute. If you get there early enough you can get a seat upstairs along the railing. If you want your kids to participate though, it is better to stay downstairs. The adults and kids were able to sit on the floor through alot of the show until it was time to get up and dance.

My DD is 9. Do you think she's too old? She really wants to see Goofy and I'm worried that she won't get any closer to him just being in the parks.

What is the best way to get a character's autograph? Do you really have to wait in long lines just for that?

She may enjoy, mine at almost 11 did not. But you need to sit approx in the middle it seemed to really get close.

Our best photo with Goofy that I love was in AK. They have paths that go up to gazebos (by the Lion King Show) and you get a nice personal visit, autograph, photos. They usually have on clothes more in keeping with AK. He has been there every time we go along with MM, MM, King Louie, Baloo.......

Over the years they have gotten the character thing very organized and many more are out. There are que lines to see them in Toontown at Mk, but they are also out all over in small ques or even just on the streets. You won't have any trouble.

Great info, thanks so much! It makes me feel better to know I won't have to wait in a huge line for characters.
