We arent on dining plan. Need a good TS dinner in the Boardwalk area. Been to Cape May already, so know about that one.

How is the brew pub? and how do you make ressies for that?

We just had dinner at Kouzzina by Cat Cora and really enjoyed it. The cinnamon stewed chicken was very good. It sounds strange, but the cinnamon was a very light, intriguing flavor, and it was great. I tried the sampler platter and the lamb burger was tremendous. I would highly recommend it as a place to try a little different type of food. We also ate at the Flying Fish and it was hands down the best meal we have ever had a Disney, and one of our top 2 or 3 ever. It is a Signature restaurant and takes two credits.

Best restaurants in the area are at the Swan/Dolphin. However, I'd say at least Bluezoo and Shula's have more of an "adult" vibe, although Bluezoo usually has a bunch of kids in there. I also like Kouzzina and Flying Fish.

You don't make reservations for Big River. You may be able to "call ahead" but no sooner than a week or so before you want to go.

anyone know where i can get menus from the swan and dolphin?

allears website has them. I ate at both Il Mulino and bluezoo last week. There were a few children in Il Mulino, none in bluezoo. Both places were more crowded than I've ever seen them. bluezoo is my favorite but Il Mulino is very nice too. Both are better than any of the Disney restaurants IMO.

great thanks - we will try one of the restaurants that way for dinner then. im assuming they take resos?

Another vote for Flying Fish! If it's just 2 of you, I recommend the Captain's Bar. You sit a bar overlooking the kitchen & can interact with the chefs while they prepare the meals.

We go to the Flying Fish on every trip. The food and the service are both wonderful.

Another place we really like is the Yachtsman Steakhouse.

If you decide on a swan/dolphin restaurant check restaurant.com for discounted gift certificates. I have seen posts on the budget board that they have been available recently. Check for promo codes for restaurant.com they very often have % off the cost of the certificate.:cool1:

Cee-I totally agree! Just had the snapper last week and am missing it. Another vote for the Flying Fish:thumbsup2 We are eating there twice on our next trip.
