What is Getting Me Mad

I am sorry for the little rant but I need to get this off my chest.
1.Why are there so many non-teenagers on this board. I don't care if it is a parent coming here to ask questions about what other teens like but it is the 10 yr olds and the very little kids that come on here.
2.The kids asking for relationship help. The Dis is not for finding girls or boys or even asking kids for help.
3.I do not like how there is a little clique on the Dis. You can see people ask really good questions on here and you won't see one person reply. Now you can see a really stupid thread(like Rack up your posts)and just because of the person who wrote it they will have 100 posts in a day.
I am sorry but please dont flame me for this. It is just my opinion and I bet some of you feel this way too.

I can see where you're headed with the "cliques". I hope this isn't true, but when I see a new person (Aka a "Newbie") making a thread, everyone is all so happy. But if the person makes a slight error a lot of us will go up in flames. And I know I will get flamed for this as well.

I will await the permission of others to post my perspective of the "cliques" rank. I'd rather be safe then sorry.

- Not only are we a Disney forum, but this is our 'hangout' our own 'community board' for people our age. If you lurk the CB, you'll see threads about washing machines, preschool, conceiving children, and vents about teachers. The adults there have their problems to vent and seek advice for, and so do we. We discuss problems that affect our current lives as well as Disney.

- I believe I'm in this 'clique' you speak of. I post on Rack Up Your Post. Why? I have friends there. So what if my post count escalates? I'm not actually tyring to rack up my post count anymroe, it's too high. I still want to talk to my friends, and Private Messages get confusing after awhile. There are times where I see new threads, and I don't know how to reply to them, or my reply isn't very nice, so I just won't reply. I'm sorry if all of my opinions must now be posted.

What's wrong with a tween coming on? I'm only a year and a half away from being a teen? RUYP is not like you're thinking. It's a fun place that we can talk to all our friends. Besides teens have problems too! This is like our own community board. I competely respect your opinion and this is just my opinion. BTW Jaimie gets an applaud from me.

I'm going to be a teenager in September and I think like if the kids on here are 11 and 12 they can be on the teen forum...but for like the really little kids..no. Because some of the time they probably don't know what we're talking about and they can't really give advice because they aren't going through the same stuff and some kids might be too young to ride the rides we like, such as: Tower of Terror, Rock n Rollin Coaster, and just some of the more mature rides. That's just my opinion.

What does that matter? I know a lot of 11 or 12 year olds who don't know what I'm talking about either.

And big deal if they don't ride the same rides as us.

I agree Sometimes I do feel like there is a clique on here, but it's not a "bad" clique or whatever, like one sees in schools. It can be awkward sometimes, if a group of people in that "clique" keep talking in some thread, and you want to get what your idea is to the OP in. I say that in the nicest way possible. But Rack Up Your Post, even though I don't post on it, seems like a great place that people just go to talk to their friends. And as for the younger kids coming on, I think that's okay. I mean, as long as there are no trolls or whatever, I find that there should be no age limit. They can do what they want. But thanks for sharing your opinion, KidGoofy. It's okay to rant

I don't think just because this board is called the TEEN Board, necessarily means it's JUST for teens.
It is teen-related topics, and sure, most of us ARE teens.

But personally, I like it when someone older pops in to ask us a question or give us advice. It's nice.


As for non-Disney topics.
It is a teen board. It's a place to hang out, ask for advice, make friends.
It's generally a laid back place.
90% of the other boards on this site are completely Disney related, so why not have a laid back, relaxed board?
