What happens after closing?

TTC said our official closing will be on Monday and we can call 3-4 days later to make reservations. My question is what else will happen? Are we assigned a guide? What will we receive in the mail...membership cards, Member Guide, anything else?

I am so excited I can hardly wait to make our first reservations!!!

Yes you will be assigned a guide and you will get a bunch of stuff from both the closing company and DVC eventually (Vacation Planner and Member Cards. You should be able to make reservations with your points before you receive anything in the mail/fed ex. Make sure to talk to the TTC to get the info you will need to call. Also when you call ask for the info you will ned to log on to the member web site. Until you have a planner, that will be handy.

Thanks for your reply! I am really hoping to be able to sweet talk someone into speeding up our membership cards before our next trip. DS would love to experience the Stitch attraction during the DVC preview!!!

We are also closing soon and are hoping to use our discounts while there in Nov (too late to stay on points). What are the odds of that happening?
