What Don't You Do...

Hi everyone! Just reading through the "list", it seems everyone skips all the same things. My DH's first trip to WDW is this year and we've made a pact; I won't force him to ride anything if he doesn't. this came up after he kept insisting he was absolutely NOT riding Small World (I have a CD w/ the song on it..he HATES it!) and if he had to ride Small World, I'd have to go in the SF Treehouse (terrified does not begin to describe how I feel about heights) so we made a pact. Some of the things we'll be skipping this year (and things I always skip)

MK:

Dumbo - no kids, why bother?
Indy Speedway- never been on it, have no desire to
Astro-Orbiter- see above
riverboat - see above
Aladdin - same as Dumbo
Cindy's carousel- bah. why waste time on this when we could be on space mountain?
Hall of Presidents- My parents dragged me in this when I was about 8..they never made that mistake again. :teeth:
Small world- I'm not too happy about not riding this one, but a promise is a promise.
SF Treehouse- I had a panic attack the first time I went through it.

MGM

Playhouse Disney- As much as I love Playhouse Disney(even though we don't have kids), DH said no. :(
HISTK Playground- no point.
Star tours: motion sickness-DH will ride solo on this.
BatB- I went to this show in 2002, and I was very disappointed that they changed it somehow. It wasn't as good as I remember it being in the past, and I probably won't go again.

EPCOT
Innoventions
any movie in WS-if I want a nap I'll go back to my room!
Maelstrom- I rode it once, didn't see the big deal about it.

I've only been to AK once, so I'm not sure we're going to rule anything out here. I'm not too keen on Kali Rapids (don't like being in wet clothes) but we may try it, who knows.

I've just realized that I haven't seen anyone mention WEDWay people mover (is that still what it's called?) in MK. This ride is one of my favorites, though I'm not sure why. It's not that exciting.

Keep the posts coming, this is fun!

We never do Indiana Jones. It's too loud, and I can't stand the woman in the show who is always shrieking, "INDY!!!!!!". We had to do it with DS for the first time last year, and he enjoyed it. He calls it "MeenaManna Jones", which we think is pretty funny.

Let's see.....

MK- 1. Treehouse
2. Dumbo & Aladdin
3. Toontown (kids not interested)
4. Astro Orbitor

Epcot-1. Wonders of Life (that's about it)

MGM- 1. ToT (were all too chicken)
2. RnRC (I like but no one else)

AK- 1. Conservation Station
2. Most of Dinoland

Funny how others see rides and attractions. Can't wait to go back and ignore these all again!!:teeth:

I totally agree about the parades! Last Tuesday we spent over an hour sitting on a freezing cold curb outside Casey's to watch Spectromagic. While it was a nice parade, it was nothing spectacular and entirely too short! We've seen it once now, so we can skip it on future trips and go on rides while everyone else is sitting on the curb. The only parade I would wait to see would be Tapestry of Nations/Dreams. I would sit for hours just to see that one again!
