What do you put on your french fries?

Sometimes mayo
sometimes ketchup
sometimes Baconnaise
If I'm at 5 Guys, it's tons of malt vinegar and salt

Most times, I just scoop up my sandwich drippin's with the last of my fries. mmmmm....
 
Depends. If they are cheese fries, then ranch.
If they are fast food, ketchup
homemade, mayonaise and ketchup. Brown gravy is good with any of the above and I don't mind using the other condiments with the brown gravy.
 

Another: it depends on where they're from. Red Robin gets extra seasoning then their ranch, Carl's Jr. gets ranch, Burger King gets fry sauce, McDonald's (given they're fresh) gets nothing, anywhere else gets ketchup. I'm picky about ranch, so if it's a good ranch, then it'll get ranch. If only everyone had Red Robin's ranch...

I have a sweet spot for fries. I hate that I do too, they're so horrible for you, but I love them.

ETA: Forgot about the Frosty. Yes, when I got to Wendy's, I always get a chocolate frosty too. Just a small one for the fries, I usually don't finish it.
 
It depends on where I'm having them-

at Chick-Fil-A, I like mustard and ketchup and sometimes mayo, at Red Robin, I like ranch, at Wendy's, I use a chocolate frosty, and at our local diner, I like honey mustard. At home, I typically just use ketchup.
 
Fresh out of the pot just a little sprinkle of sea salt and cracked pepper. DH, DS(8), DD(6) all like ranch or ketchup w/ a little hot sauce mixed in. I prefer ranch dressing w/ a little hot suace mixed in. :love:

I actually have a ketchup phobia, it makes me sick to even watch people eat it or look at it :sick:

We could be best friends :laughing: I can't stand even the smell of ketchup


And on a side note, someone mentioned BK's fry sauce... what is that? I've never even heard of it

Can you get the mayo in stores, or do you just mince some up and toss together? I really have to try this...

I am from the UK and we have lots of different flavours of mayo- garlic, chilli, sweet chilli, dijon mustard, lemon etc.

Im sure you can get it in USA....it's nothing new but pure deliciousness!
 
Always salt.

But i change up what I use to dip depending on my mood. And I always dip, I never pour it on top of the fires.
 
Garlic mayo rules but OMG your breath afterwards!

Plain mayo is nice too, as is ketchup :)
 
I thought of this post last night..

I was at a local Bar and Grill with the girls for a ladies night out/meeting to discuss some arrangements for an upcoming event. The bar is called Fatt Boy's, and they serve something called Fatt's Fries.

Its a huge serving of beer-battered fries, deep-fried fresh to order, and as soon as they come out of the fryer they are salted and covered VERY liberally in fresh chopped garlic and herbs. Served with your choice of dipping sides - ketchup, mustard, ranch, mayo, etc - but they are to die for with ranch.

Home- Mayo or sometimes rance
I also like chili cheese fries and fries with gravy

If the fries have cheese and bacon on them ranch and sometimes ketchup.

Miracle Whip (Lite) is my choice:worship:If that's not available...mmmm...pepper only.
