What do you love about BCV besides SAB??

Nice! You guys are making me homesick lucky we only have 31 days left. We reall like the chicken cesar salad from the BC Marketplace. Hey Eliza do they take CS credits at the Boardwalk Bakery, or is it all snack?

My dd will love this. She absolutely loves chicken ceasar salads. :thumbsup2

How far a walk is it from Boardwalk villas to Beach club? I've never stayed in that area, and in Sept. dh and I are celebrating our anniversary at Boardwalk DVC. Now that I"m hearing such nice things about Beach Club it's making me want to check it out!! LOL

Bump! still hoping for an answer to my question, how far a walk is it from BWV to Beach club.

Literally a hop, skip and a jump. You simply walk passed the yacht club, over a little footbridge and the broadwalk is right there. It can't be a mile.

Yep, they do take snack credits. They have (had as of November) these really huge cinnamon buns though that you couldn't use your snack credits for but these things were really big. If I got one, it was definitely enough to cut in half for Dh.
Not sure if you can use your snack credits for the sandwiches though. At lunch they sell paninis & things. Maybe some one else here knows.

Yes, they take CS credits at Boardwalk Bakery. Last year I ate (a delicious) lunch there. I had a turkey pannini sandwich, banana split cake, and lemonade. The sandwiches are supposed to be available after 11:00 am, but often it's closer to 11:15 or a little later. The banana split cake is excellent.

The three days we were at BWV we kept looking across wishing we were staying at BCV. LOL I can't wait to stay there. We liked BWV but would probably not stay there again. We love SSR and we look forward to trying all the DVC resorts at least once.

We love it for all the reasons listed already. We also enjoy the convenient parking, the chance to listen to Illuminations and see bits of it from most of the villas on the "backside" of BCV, room service, the quiet pool and the friendly CMs. Love the yogurt parfaits at the Marketplace as well as the breakfast croissants there.

BTW, isn't it faster to get between BCV and BWV by walking toward Epcot rather than the S/D>YC route. We always use that route to get to the BW restaurants.

The colors of the resort, the dinner buffet at Cape May. We eat there even when we are not staying at Beach Club. I love the walk back after a day at the parks. It is so peaceful. This December, I bought Gingerbread houses at Boardwalk Bakery and at Beachclub. They were beautiful!!!!

I see that people have answered, but it's a very easy walk, even I don't get discouraged. I have a hard time walking some days. Just be on the alert for the (dare I say crazy) people on the surreys!!

We love SAB the most, but also love the kitchen sink experience at BC, the beach area for campfire sing alongs and evening movies, making towel animals, and just hanging out on the beach lounge chairs and swings. Overall, location, location, location!! We like that we can use APs to run over to Epcot and grab lunch at Morocco (one of our favs) easily and bring back to SAB.

I usually run around the lake in the mornings and my Garmin showed it being 1/4 - 1/2 mile between BCV and BW depending on exactly where you are measuring over there. Hope it helps.

How long of a walk is it to the Studios from BCV and how long does it usually take?

We just stayed at BCV (1 bedroom) last week for our first DVC visit.

It was awesome!!

1. Pool is the best.
2. Walk or boat to Epcot or Studios
3. Boardwalk is great to walk around at night time or exercise in the morning.
4. Room was super nice.
5. Disney Staff was friendly at every turn.
6. Four star resort and a great price as a DVC member.
7. Walk to Food and Wine in October
8. Free Valet Parking for DVC (but you get this at all DVC resorts)
9. Family feel
10. Amazing Gym, Hot tub, Steam room

Our home resort is SSR, but we love staying at BCV too. We absolutely love Cape May breakfast, walking to Epcot and DHS, Beaches & Cream & sitting on the beach at the end of the day. :goodvibes

If we add on more points it will probably be a resale of BCV. :thumbsup2
