I am now disabled (last 10 years) but I have had some great jobs along the way...
I worked for DateMaker. I was originally an ad taker, but worked my way up to supervisor. This was before computers and the ads were taken over the phone. The stories I can tell!
I was a pharmacy tech at the age of 16. I stayed until it became a degree position. I still know many of the drugs, what they are for etc.
I worked in the Acct. department for both a very large supermarket chain and a moving company. I did accounts receivables/payables, payroll, and much more. I never had a degree.
I also did sales, estimates, and was the office manager at above said Moving company.
I was a deli clerk. I know all the luncheon meat and cheeses, and to this day stay away!
That is just "some" of the jobs I have had. I started working full-time at 14 and didn't stop until I became disabled. When my kids were little I once had 1 full-time and 4 part-time jobs (DH was laid off).
I was given many great opportunities during my working years. I am still young. Sometimes when asked what I do for a living I reply with, Use my Job history to master Jeopardy each evening!
