Scott Somebody, right? Is it Wesson? He was also in Up Close & Personal with Robert Redford.

And I am so jealous of the person who met Tim Curry (most underrated singer/actor -- I have all three of his albums!) and Pat Conroy (one of my favorite authors of all time).

I also forget to mention that I briefly met Brian Wilson (Beach Boys) after one of his concerts. I spent more time with some of band members many of whom are part of the incredible band, The Wondermints.

bill clinton, al gore, hillary clinton...do they count as celebrities? :p

Forgot one...Ted Nugent. He came to our school once and did an anti drug speech, I got to hug him, almost ripped a tassle off his leather jacket but didn't think he would appreciate it to much.

Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins...they came to my school (seperate years) to talk to all the kids involved in theater.

Last Fall I met Adam Gaynor from Matchbox 20. He was such a sweetie. We were staying at the same hotel. Somehow I missed the other guys though.

I met Bruce Springsteen last summer. We go to the same beach club. It's really too bad, because I don't even like him.

I was friends with Bobbie Valentine and his wife for years when the managed the Texas Rangers. So I met and hung out with a ton of Pro Baseball players and other sports people.

You guys have no idea how many times I have wanted to call Rapheal Palmeiros wife and ask her " WHY did you let him do the Viagra thing?" LOL

Oh I forgot I know Dr Phil . He is client at our clinic (NICE man)but its about that drawl ......

I interned on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and General Hospital in college, but I am only going to count the people to whom I have actually spoken or worked with.

Before College, when my dad worked in film in Boston
Katharine Hepburn (I was 1 but according to my mom we've met)
Robert Urich
Avery Brooks
Cher
Bob Hoskins
Bobby Orr - when I was 8 tripped over him and he came back later to make sure I was ok.

College,
Jay Leno-seriously one of the nicest people on earth
Ed Hall
The whole tonight show band
Jerry O'Connell -he's nice and hott!!!!!
A few members of N'Sync I almost fell over Joey Fatone and I asked the others why they didn't wear any shoes. They said their feet were tired.
I saw nick and Jessica simpson everywhere for one whole day. Oh my god they are so ridiculous. This was way before marriage.
There's more, but I don't remember.
Lots of folks from General hospital
some of them liked to talk to the interns, some pretended we weren't there

After College,
Brian Henson, John Henson and all muppets and muppeteers except frank oz.
Jon Voight-who looks really good in a turkey costume
Brooke Shields
Tim Daly
Katherine something or other she is in the move How to lose a guy in 10 days and also on crossing jordan. I worked with her for a month.
David Bryan Keyboards for Bon Jovi he wrote the score for an amazing musical called Memphis. I made costumes.
Alan from Sesame street. He never told me i was weird for gushing about my love for grover.
Ken Prymus great stage actor, sings the theme to MASH in the film.
Chad Kimball -he'll be famous soon, that guy can sing. And he's in a wendy's commercial.

Those are the important ones.

My dh has met some pretty wonderful people - he's met a lot of famous people - he used to work at Universal Studios (fire department) - his most memorable ones were when had lunch with Martin Sheen, when he ran into the love of his life Leah Thompson, and was slapped by Karen Allen (she asked him if he knew her name and he said she was the actress in Superman - bigggg mistake), and he had drinks with Carson Daly in New York (he had no idea who he was and Carson Daly found that hysterically funny) anyway, he's met a lot of celebs. I met John Ritter when he was married to Nancy Morgan - met them at a cerebral palsy fund raiser long, long, long ago (nicest, nicest people). I worked at a company that handled entertainment accounts and I met a lot of actors through tickets to premier parties. Though my favorite memories are through band members: Meeting Robin Zander (I had such a mad crush), Danny Elfman, and Dale Bozzio when my brother worked at the old Country Club in Reseda - met a lot of band members during the 80's those were pretty wild days. My favorite 'newer' band members that I've met - the guys from Tonic at House of Blues Hollywood (Emerson Hart, Dan Avery, Jeff Russo), Adam, Rob and Kyle from Matchbox (at Anaheim Pond) (Chellnjr., isn't he the greatest!!!!), and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) at a fundraiser - these were all terrific guys (highly recommend you buy their CD's). Oh and most definitely at the top of the list, Mark & Brian - love those guys! I lived in the heart of the entertainment industry (my family/friends still do) and most of my friends, family & I were in some way connected to it (still are) so it's not as odd to have so much contact with these folks.

Roger Clemens at Disney World, he was very nice.

Ryan Newman and Michael Waltrip at Pocono raceway, they were both really cool, friendly and humble.

Jeff Hammond and Larry Mc Reynolds at a restaurant near Pocono raceway. Jeff was very friendly and much better looking in person but Larry was a real jerk.

<font color=navy>SuprGro78, When you worked on the Tonight Show, did you meet Soundman Allen Magnone?

I've met a few musicians after their concerts, but the only ones who would actually recognize me are the guys from Matchbox 20. I met them in Orlando the summer before Yourself was released in 1996. My roommate met Adam on the street downtown, asked him what was cool to do in this town, and he invited us to their private show downtown. We sat at the front table with Rob's mom, and I became their biggest advertisement until they became a household name. My roomies e-mailed the guys for a while (curses for my not having a computer at the time!), and we were put on the guest lists whenever their tour would come around (after we moved back to Louisiana). That became pretty impossible shortly after they started playing arenas, and I haven't been to one of their shows or talked to them since. Doubt they would recognize us now. :(

They really WERE all great guys. I never talked to Paul much; he seemed pretty shy. Adam was such a goofball, and Rob... sigh. He was SO apologetic once when our names got left off of the list and we had to get a little nasty until they finally went and asked Rob. He even got on his knees and begged forgiveness. :teeth: Ahh, I SO wish I had pics of some of those nights. The ones I do have are just post-concert fan pics. If only I could go back and get video of the private rendition of Kyle's part in Time After Time that I begged him to sing for my friend on her b-day since she was totally gaga over him. :teeth: Sigh... my life is so dull now.

Now I MUST meet Damien Rice :faint:

Denzel , Spike, Bruce Willlis, Brad Pitt, Madeline Stowe, Haley Joel,Samuel Jackson, Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez, George Carlin, Kevin Smith, Jason Biggs, David Morse, Jonathan Demme, Melba Moore. (Robinrs, I'm in the biz too.)

I met in this order:
Robert Goulet (I was only 3, lol)
Scott Baio (dated him as a teen, hung out with us)
Andy Warhol (in a club in NYC in the early 80's)
John Bellusi (also in a club in NYC in the early 80's)
George Hamilton (at Resorts International in the Bahamas mid 80's)
Paul Sorvino (in Jamaica at the Royal Plantaion 2 years ago)
