Just finished reading Chicken Soup For the Couple's Soul last night...will prolly start the Left Behind series tonight since my bf has all of them and raves about it.
the basic premise is that she's a rich, West Side liberal whose family made their forutne from selling matzo -- and they don't really observe Passover anymore. until the Food Channel wants to film their Passover celebration for a t.v. special...
Patricia Gaffney's new book "The Goodbye Summer." So far so good. Also "reading" Paula Deen's cookbook "The Lady & Son's Just Desserts." It's got so many great recipes!
In book form I am reading the third in the Left Behind series "Nicolae"......in audio form I am on tape two of John Grisham's "The Street Lawyer". ...............................P
I love these book threads. I finished yesterday The True and Outstanding adventures of the Hunt Sisters by Elizabeth Robinson
And then I started The Zero Game by Brad Meltzer In the car I am listening to Tie that Binds by Phillip Margolin. And finally my kids at school are listening to Hank the Cowdog. I highly recomend it to those of you with children. As they have told me it is the best we have listened to yet. We have listened to several since testing is over as a way of relaxing.
I just finished The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks. It is sorta the sequel to The Notebook. It was an easy, good read.
Going to the library tomorrow for something new.
Saw a list of books compiled by Laura Bush that she things everyone should read. I have never been a big reader and so the list is full of books forr me to check on!
Oh, sorry. I thought I wrote that in the post. It is in the new Seventeen Magazine. I can't remember if it is 25 books to read or books to read before your turn 25. But it was something like that. (See, my comprehension IS bad! )
BTW, I'm NOT a teen (reading Seventeen LOL) They send it to me to display in my shop. I usually look throough them to see whther I want to display it. Seventeen can get a bit risque these days.
