Okay so I saw Danvers thread saying she was ashamed she listened to the Backstreet Boys. Obviously a guilty pleasure :teeth: So that inspired this thread. What are your guilty pleasures? Mine are Jay-Z (okay, SO not a rap music fan but there's something about his stuff I like  ), NEWLYWEDS...haha I love that show! And I harbor a secret crush on Steve Martin which many people think is gross as he's old enough to be my grandfather.

Share your guilty pleasures!

I like to read the Enquirer and other gossip mags. I also like reading my dh's men's mags.
I like cheesy shows like America's Next Top Model and Blind Date.

Backstreet Boys. I was listening to their new song and found myself getting all giddy and chanting "BSB" :rotfl:
Keith Urban...mmm :lovestruc
Clay Aiken..I think he's so cute!

I am in LOVE  with Jack White. He's pale looking guy from the White Stripes who sings "Portland, Oregon" with Loretta Lynn.

50 Cent's "In Da Club". I hate rap but I find myself dancing like a crazy women.

The re-enactment of the Michael Jackson on the E! Channel. :rotfl2:

Cowboys..they're so hot! But I'll never admit it to anyone I know.

My guilty pleasure is looking at INUYASHA on Adult Swim:lovestruc

I LOVE INUYASHA sooo much that I bought all of the dvds and movies. I can't wait for the 3rd movie to come out.

I also love to sing INUYASHA's 5th season closing song Shinjitsu No Uta by Do As Infinity.

Can you imagine a black woman singing a japanese song from beginning to end. I love this song so much that I'm seriously thinking about singing it at our family reunion's talent show in June.

I don't care that my family run to their bedrooms and close the doors when I start singing I love this song

BTW, I don't care that my dh think I'm nuts, I think Kigome is sooo lucky to be able to travel between both universes.

I also love to watch The movie 9 1/2 weeks. I find that movie to be soo romantic. It gives honey a new meaning

Long Live Inuyasha :lovestruc

He's very wonderful :teeth: I didn't think anyone else thought he was cute. I'm glad I'm not alone! :goodvibes

My iPod is chock full of guilty pleasures that no college guy should have:

Britney Spears - "Toxic" and "I'm a Slave 4 U" <---what can I say, she's hot, and these songs are so catchy.

Kelly Clarkson - "Since You've Been Gone"

Whole bunches of 80s songs - Annie Lennox, Roxette, Jack Wagner (anyone remember "All I Need" - the worst song ever written - so corny, so laughable, yet so incredibly 'singable')

The funny thing is, even though I think these are guilty pleasures, when I talk to people about them, everyone admits to liking them (although they're somewhat sheepish about admitting it).

As for tv shows:

American Idol and Nashville Star - So, so corny.

According to Jim - So, so bad, but it makes me laugh every single episode.

Starting Over - Maybe it's because I'm a guy, but the "drama" that these ladies go through is so over-the-top, that it makes me crack up. It's a real-life soap opera, disguising itself as an inspirational self-help show. Seriously funny stuff.

SuperNanny - One of the goals in my life is to marry a British woman with good teeth (granted, that probably not gonna happen, but a guy can dream, can't he?). Now, Jo Frost is not someone I'd want to marry in the least, but her accent makes me smile. I love a British accent. And these parents - how do they let their kids get so crazy?!?!

I'm sure I'll think of more as time goes on.

Britney Spears and Ashlee Simpson
Nashville Star(I was screaming at the tv when my guy finished in 3rd)
gross out comedies

I still love all those pre-teen shows I used to watch, and now I even like the new ones- I often find myself watching Thats So Raven at three am... I was actually laughing out loud last night :sad2: I've also been known to zone out during Lizzie Maguire... I guess I'll never grow up- call me peter Pan!

I read "In Touch" and "Us Weekly" every single week. I probably know more about Nick and Jessica and Brad/Jen/Angelina than their own therapists do.

Dh and I have a weekly standing date on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays to watch "Desperate Housewives", "The Amazing Race" and "The Apprentice." We don't answer the door, phones, or pagers during these hours. Just dinner and the TV.

Loud, bass thumping, booty bumping rap music. I have actually rattled my rear view mirror off before!

A tech where I work is studying to be a massage therapist. So I scurry over to see him at least once a shift to get a quick neck and shoulders rubdown.

Orange sherbet. Only 1.5 fat grams and 90 calories in 1/2 cup. Well, I guess that doesn't qualify. I have NO guilt about eating a cone every day.

Don't worry you are not alone! :teeth: I have the hots for Jack and if I told anyone they'd probably think I'm crazy. :rotfl:

He dresses like a nut but I love it. He looks like a big ol' cherry flavored cough drop. :rotfl2: I see he's getting ready to come to Portland with his umbrella.

Add Survivor and that sums up the important shows to my DH and myself. We'll also watch some sitcoms on Monday night, but forgot those some weeks. My DH did answer the phone during Amazing Race on week and missed the whole show. Also did that during Survivor before.

Some of ya'lls guilty pleasures are cracking me up :teeth: Oh and LindsayDunn I love Real World/Road Rules challenge too! I love this season. It's so full of drama...I love it! :teeth:

I just thought of another guilty pleasure of mine...that "Hollaback Girl" song by Gwen Stefani. On my way to school this morning it came on and I found myself chanting "B-A-N-A-N-A-S" right along with her :rotfl:

I really like techno...Lords of Acid especially. They aren't suitable for listening to around kids and DH HATES techno and threatens my beloved cds so I have to hide them to make sure nothing "bad" happens to them. When DH is at work, Remy is at school and Holly begins her nap I run to where my cds are hidden and play them over and over until Holly is done with her nap. Yes, everyday around noon I DIS to techno.
