i read Entertainment Weekly cover to cover every week:worship:, i LOVE their book reviews, i get so many suggestions and add them to my Goodreads list

TOO funny ... same here. Many good selections over the years!

Just started reading Confessions of a Prairie *****. It's a great read! It's written by Alison Arngrim, the girl that played Nellie Oleson on Little House on the Prairie.

I just finished "The Professor and the Madman" by Simon Winchester. This was a fabulous read! It is non fiction, but tells the true story of the putting together of the Oxford English Dictionary. Amazing stuff!

Next up is "The Birth House" by Ami McKay. So far, I really like it. Granted, I'm only about 30 pages in, but it's gripping so far.

The Professor and the Madman sounds great! Just added it to my "to read" list, thanks :)

Halfway through Kingdom Keepers: Disney at Dawn, going to start an "adult" book next :rotfl:, can't decide between Devil in a White City or The Glass Castle

Can't wait to hear what you think of it. I really liked The Glass Castle.

"Devil in the White City" is a great book. I read it right before a trip to Chicago and I looked at the city with an entirely different perspective. Bet you'll be surprised by the references to Walt Disney! ;)

The Glass Castle was amazing also. I read that a few years ago.

Right now I'm into Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I began book 1 of the series about a month ago, and have worked my way through up to 7. It had been a while since I had read all of them, and have never read all in a row before. Can't wait for the new movie!

I'll have to put that one on my list. I always liked Nellie's character even though she was such a spoiled brat. She was entertaining!

I finished Going Rogue by Sarah Palin this morning. The book was given as a gift to my mom and I thought I would read it for a change of pace. It was an interesting read. I always wondered why she left the governership before her term was over. Now I know about that and some of the other things that went on during the campaign, her background and where the title of the book came from.

This made me decide to read this next, Im from a town about 2 hours south of Chi Town and I am really excited to read it, especially because I just saw Leonardo DiCaprio signed on for the movie  I'm so curious about the Disney references now!

I'm also excited to start The Glass Castle since so many of you said you liked it!

Highly reccommend the Kingdom Keepers for anyone on here with kids, so exciting!

i LOVE to read the HP books all in a row! HP is my favorite thing, i'm so excited for the new movie as well :)

I finished "The Birth House" last night. I really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it!

Next up is "Forest Born" by Shannon Hale. I have loved all her books, and this one is starting out good. It's the 4th in the Goose Girl series.

I just finished "The Templar Legacy" by Steve Berry. I really enjoyed this book. "The Templar Legacy is the first book in a series of books involving the main character Cotton Malone. I'm now onto Steve Berry's "The Romanov Prophecy," and I was hooked right from the beginning.

I'm reading The Geometry of Sisters by Luanne Rice. I'd rather be in my favorite chair right now reading it instead of sitting here trying to get up the desire to to my work.

I've had that on my "to read" list forever, let us know what you think about it :goodvibes

Didn't feel like starting Devil in the White City, I was more in the mood for something a little lighter so I started The Help. Not sure if I'm going to like it because its taking me a little while to get into the story but with such good reviews I'm hoping it gets better!

Well I started Backseat Saints (thanks to this thread) because it came through on my waiting list at the library. I am about 200 pages in & it is pretty good. When I am done I will jump back to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo which I am not that into yet.
