I finished The Matchmakers by Jennifer Colgan (a free Kindle book) so I'm back reading Towers of Midnight by Jordand and Sanderson. (I didn't want to carry that huge hardcover with me on vacation!)

The first book was so-so. It was written in the same tone as the show and I kept hearing their voices as I read their alter-ego parts. I'm starting the second one this morning. I'll let you know.

Anyone to read "Matched", just out this week? I read 250,000 for first print so they must think going to be a big one in the scope of "The Hunger Games" and to be a tilogy. I hope to start tomorrow as just finishing "I Am the Messenger" as a re-do.

Tell me more about it. I'm always looking for something new to read, and I loved "The Hunger Games."

I am reading The Confession by Grisham
I just read a really cute book called A Dogs Purpose. I forgot who wrote it, but it was awesome if you are a dog lover
I am also trying to read Going Rouge by Palin

I just got finished reading Towers of Midnight by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. I absolutely love the Wheel of Time. I was in the middle of reading Harry Potter when that book came out, so now it's back to the Goblet of Fire.
I can't wait to read it! A friend of mine's son has it and is bringing it to me to read when he comes home for Christmas from college.

I put up The Navigator by Clive Cussler when I realized that I have read it before. Now I'm reading High Noon by Nora Roberts.

I finished The Wild Things and will start Daniel Deronda by George Eliot on my way to work tomorrow. Maybe I should start it tonight, since I can't seem to sleep.

Well I'm reading a series of YA books that the show Pretty Little Liars was based on. Its a series by Sara Shepard called, obviously lol, Pretty Little Liars. I wanted something quick and easy so I read the first one last night and am starting on the second, Flawless, today. I actually like them a lot, but the TV show is one of my guilty pleasures so thats probably why haha :)

I liked Bel Canto so much that I decided to try some more Ann Patchett books. I started The Magician's Assistant today.

I also just finished Bel Canto and really enjoyed it. It actually inspired me to check out a Maria Callas CD at the library which I've been playing much to my families chagrin. My book club will be discussing it this weekend, and I'm hoping that they all liked it since it was my book pick. Anyway, let us know what you think about The Magician's Assistant.

Reading the 4th Pretty Little Liars book, going though the series pretty fast and I really like it! Good fluff :)

i've heard so much about Bel Canto I think I will try and get it from one of the libraries this weekend, I'm excited to try it!

currently reading Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks, like it so far but I don't think it's going to be one of my favorites of his

How is this? I keep thinking about adding these to my Nook for the trip next week, I love the show, just wondered how the books measure up?

Naked Heat wasn't even as good as the first one. I put it down after just a couple of chapters. I love the show, but the books are only just ok.

Instead, I started reading The Romanov Prophecy by Steve Berry. This is a can't put down book. I like those better.

I'm still plugging along on River Town: 2 years on the Yangtze. It's fascinating, but I don't have a lot of spare time to devote to reading! Gotta pick up the pace, though, as it's due back at the library soon.

I'm reading Glitter Baby by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. I'm not sure if I've read anything by her before but I'm enjoying this one.
