Meridian is quiet for the first few nights on the cruise until people learn about it. You can also go over on the Palo side which desn't have many people.
Outlook Lounge. Hard to find, spectacular picture window view of adult pool area and the ocean. Usually deserted (if not rented for a function) and dead quiet. If you want to be indoors, secluded, and have a great view, this is it.

It's actually on deck 14. You have to use the midship elevators. Only one goes up to that deck. When you get off the elevator, turn right. If the door is open (and it's not a private function) you can go in there. Here's a picture out the full wall of windows:
It's my understanding that Outlook was originally planned to be the piano bar on the Dream/Fantasy, but the hard to find location kinda killed that.
You can also reach it by going toward Edge and then going up the stairs at the entrance to Edge to deck 14. That will wind up behind the elevator, so you need to go around it to get there. Outlook is mostly used for private functions as well as the Interdenominational Service on Sundays.
That's part of the mystical aura about the lounge. Only one of the midship elevators goes to it! Often we find ourselves walking up the last flight of stairs to get to it.
