At seven months, what are my chances of getting a two-bedroom standard view at BWV October 30-November 3?

I already have a two-bedroom booked at OKW 10/30-11/3. But the people traveling with us specifically want to visit for the Food and Wine Festival. I thought I might try and move the reservation to BWV.


At seven months, what are my chances of getting a studio or one bedroom at VWL in early December (Adventure season)? And which would be easier to get?

I plan to book at OKW as soon as I can, but we'll be meeting up with some friends who like to stay at Wilderness Lodge, so I wonder if it will be possible to move our reservation.

Just trying to plan ahead.

at 7th month you might get a preferred view in Oct/Nov - but I don't think you can get a standard view. remember that BWV is different - there are no 2-bedroom dedicated - only a 1-bedroom and studio combination.

Dec in VWL is hard too. I would think you would have better luck with a 1-bedroom (there are more of these).

I'm very aware that these are extremely popular times for DVC members. September won't work, because we want to be there for MNSSHP on Halloween night.

I figure if we can't move the ressies we'll be perfectly happy with OKW. I was just wondering what my chances were because there are other people involved.

Anything we say is just a guess - mine is that you should be able to get a PV 2 bedroom at the BWV. A 2 bedroom standard view is possible, but very unlikely. Your best bet is to call day by day as soon as your 7 month window opens, right at 9 am Eastern. USe the waitlist for individual days if any of the days are unavailable when you first call. If you are willing to do that, you will at least get the PV - Pool/Garden and maybe the PV -Boardwalk view or the standard view.

The same strategy should get you the VWL room you want as well. Studios tend to book more quickly than 1 bedrooms, but yo never know.

By preferred view do you mean the BW view also? I was surprised (and pleased) I got a BW view in August, less than 2 months in advance. But I was wondering about a BW view (studio) the first week in November.
