Costco Park Hopper

Were these with other gift cards or did they have a display elsewhere? I looked at my local store in NorCal and didn’t see them.
There was a display of them as you entered the store with other items on sale. They were not by the other gift cards.
I live in the San Diego area.

For those not finding the display on the floor, perhaps you could go straight to the merchandise pickup window and ask if they have any (left).

Saw them at my local Costco in southern CA. I saw signs advertising them in several places. I never actually looked at the display as we have magic keys already. Good deal though on them.

I thought about doing this. I am not purchasing them, as I don't have a trip planned that these would apply to. If I make it for the 70th it won't be until February and that is more like a 30% chance.

If you are thinking about these you might want to jump on them. Our Costco (a San Jose one) got them in Monday and they were already sold out by yesterday and they aren't getting any more in.
Which SJ Costco? On the app it’s still showing them as in stock around here.

EDIT: The closest SJ Costco to me (Almaden) still have 50+ left. Ended up picking them up anyway since we were going to use them for our Thanksgiving week trip this year.

OK, still playing around with the upgrade/adding a day idea. If I'm reading this right, the price for that would be $96 between a 3 day and 4 day with park hopper and LL. So that is still a pretty good deal for a one day ticket. That would put you at $546 for 4 days, which is still more than $100 off the gate price. Would love updates from anyone who has tried to add days!

It seems confirmed that the visits can be spaced out between now and December 19.
Now I wish I took a closer look when I saw them at Costco yesterday. I only go for one or two days at a time. It was posted on Reddit that the 3 days had to be within 13 days of the first day used. Since I didn't think that would work for me, I just walked past the display. If I go to Costco again soon, I'll definitely look it over carefully.

To upgrade you would have to pay the difference between what you paid and the current gate price of the ticket you are upgrading to. You effectively lose all discounts you paid.

If I am doing my math right it would cost an additional $248 to add a single day. It would be more cost effective to buy a single day ticket. Even more so if you skip hopping and LL for that single day.

When I've upgraded before, they applied my ticket as if it were a full-price ticket, even if I had purchased it at a discount. I don't think the system distinguishes after it has been activated? But that's what I'm trying to figure out.

For example, a few years ago I had purchased discounted tickets and was able to add an extra day when the sports tournament we were attending ended in defeat and we were able to get to Disneyland a day earlier. I just added it on at some point during the trip when I had a few minutes to visit a ticket stand.

Another time, I was able to use a discounted four-day park hopper to a Magic Key, and they again applied the regular retail value, instead of the discounted price I paid.

So this leads me to think you could probably do the same here, and take your Costco ticket to be upgraded, but they would apply the regular price and you'd only have to pay the difference between a 3 day and a 4 day.

Possible but I wouldn't count on it.
