What are Magical Moment certificates? Can you turn them in for something or are they just a nice souvenir?

It's just a souvenir--piece of paper with your name and what the magical moment was.

My youngest daughter who was 12yrs on our first cruise, got one from her 'fairy godmother in training' after getting the 'glitter and go' package in one of the shops. (Before they added a Bibbidy Bobbidy Boutique to the Wonder...it was a great deal...hair style, light makeup, lots of glitter for $20.) It was in our 'fish' outside our door one day!

We've received several from photographers with special character or ship photos. My daughter is a HAM and the photographers love her. We also had a photographer on the Magic in the Mediterranean that had the same name as my daughter so they made a great connection.

Yes, they are to commemorate something special that a CM did for you. You don't ask for them, the magic just happens.

We got one on our first ever cruise. (It was Alaska, and we were departing from Seattle). My twin girls were 3, and very excited for their first cruise. We saw a line forming, and with two very excited girls in tow, my husband asked a crew member what it was for. Turns out it was the line to meet Mickey, but then she did the most magical thing and asked my husband if we wanted to be the Family of the Day. I believe we got the Magical Moment Certificate right away, but it may have shown up in our room. We are now Gold, but to this day, I cannot board a ship without tearing up. I see my two girls, hand in hand, boarding the ship with the excitement of what was to come.

We got one from Bar services on DCL's first cruise to Hawaii. Our rooms (DH, DD and SIL) were beautifully decorated with the lit up glasses and other things. It was so memorable walking into our room at night with the glow. We felt blessed and honored.

We got one this past December on the Magic after a huge mix up with Guest Services. I just didn't know if they were meant to be turned in for something or not.
