What about OLIVIA's

DH & I are considering Olivia's at Old Key West for supper some night during our Oct 27-30 stay. Is this restaurant open to non DVC members? How is the food there. Don't believe i've seen much on this place but the menu looks appealing.

I say an emphatic "yes" to Olivia's! My wife and I are DVC members at OKW, but you do not have to be a member to dine there. We always try to stop for lunch or dinner on every visit. The wait staff is very friendly and efficient, the food is very good and the prices reasonable for WDW. We love the laid back atmosphere. If you have never seen the OKW resort, I would definitely recommend that you try a meal there. If you go and get Muriel as a server, tell her we said "hello". (She really doesn't know us, but she gave us great service. )

It is usually not very busy when we are there and I cannot understand why. I wish I were as close to going back to WDW as you. We won't be there until December.

One tip, I suggest that you (or your DH) tell them that you are celebrating your anniversary when you make your dinner reservation for the "big day". They may bring a little celebratory cake to your table. They did for our 25th at Artist Point.

We spent a few nights at PO-R in May and loved it. Perhaps you already know this, but they have carriage rides around the resort - might be nice for an anniversary.

I second the thumbs up for Olivia's...we're also DVCers, but it is just lovely for anyone. The atmosphere is second to none and more relaxing than you can imagine. We love sitting outside, overlooking the marina and river.

Maybe rent a boat afterwards for a cruise on the Sassagoula if it isn't too late? OKW is a magnificent resort and you'll love Olivias.

When we stayed at OKW last year, I had no desire to eat there but our last night, we ended up there after it started storming. It was by far, our best meal that entire stay. Food was excellent and service was great. We loved OKW. Parking in front of our villa was about the best thing EVER after a LONG day at the parks!!

Another DVC member checking in with a thumbs up for Olivia's. We ate there for our last meal(lunch) on our most recent stay between check out and getting picked up for ME. Good variety, quality food, and great service. Nice atmosphere but we loved OKW in general anyway.

We stayed at OKW on our first trip "Home" after joining DVC.

We decided we did not want to travel far for our first meal, plus we wanted to celebrate our first trip home.

So we decided to eat at Olivia's.
We were not disappointed. The food was great and the service was wonderful.
We will be going back, many times.

Is our home resort and we dine at O'livias several time s during our stay.Always good food and sevice.You can also get a great breakfast at O'livias to.

I totally agree with everything that was posted. We were there in June and it was one of of the best meals of the trip. I had coconut shrimp (yummy) and my mom had pasta with tomatoes and gorgonzola cheese. We also had a Turtle Krawl (way, way too good) and a super yummy drink of the day. They called it a Key West Colada. Had Chambord and Chocolate syrup. So good I got one the next day too.

It was not crowded at all at our server was great. Oh, that reminds me, we also had a key lime torte and some chocolate dessert. Everything was excellent. I'll definitely go back even if I'm not staying at OKW.

don't forget olivia's serves an excellent breakfast! we think it is one of the best on property.
