What 2 do with Stroller

We are also facing this problem. I'm taking 2 trips in the next few weeks..

Trip 1 - My husband & I are taking ages 5, 3, and 5 months

Trip 2 - My mom & I are taking ages 2 and 5 months

Here are our options:

Phil & Ted e3 Sport Buggy - 2 seater --- $540

Orbit Baby Stroller with toddler seat attached - 1 seater --- $1200

Valco Baby TriMode Twin with toddler seat attached - 3 seater - $670

These are my strollers and I have no idea which to take for which children.

My 5 month old is way too small to sit in the rental stroller.

I'm TERRIFIED of taking my Orbit as thats my most expensive stroller and that is his carseat that he must ride home in.

I guess I'll figure something out.. at some point.

Ya those I would not take--- that is a step above expensive!!! Holy cow! When i said pricey I meant like BOB joggers taht run about $500-600!

Yeah, I told hubby that this is my last child, Im going all out on baby gear LOL. The Orbit really is a great stroller. And the Valco was the only decent one we could find that would hold 3 LOL.

I wouldnt worry with a BOB because there are a million other strollers that LOOK like the BOB. People LOVE joggers at Disney LOL. Which is why Im not sooo worried about taking the Phil & Ted. BUT with the Phil & Ted, whoever sits on the bottom won't have the shade.. ahhh so crazy trying to figure this out.

I'm thinking I will probably take the Phil & Ted and use it as a single and put 5 month old in that and rent a double for ages 5 and 3.

On the other trip, I will probably take the Valco Baby and take off the third seat? Other than the third seat, it pretty much looks like a regular double jogger.

I get a new stroller every 6 months or so due to constant use. how does the orbit stand up to constant use? All my strollers other then my jogger they have all sucked ( the new peg is great though). Double strollers are quite pricey so I'm not surprised at the price. I have no where in town to buy good strollers. I just bout our peg last month off the net. They didn't charge me customs which I was afraid of.

Whatever you decide to do, just enjoy yourself. If you are worried about your expensive stroller outside the attraction, it is going to take away from your experience. Chances are it will be fine, but there is no guarantee, as per our experience. Things happen sometimes, even in magical Disney, don't sweat it, it's just a stroller.:)

The Orbit should stand up fine. I have gone through a million strollers as well but the Orbit is solid. It truly is a great stroller and is worth the $$$.

I totally agree. :)

Just wanted to let you know that I have seen a sunshade for the P+T's on Ebay that offers sun protection for the Doubles Seat too. I am thinking it was made by Protect a Bub. Can't remember how much though. Maybe take a look at that in case you want to use it in Doubles mode. HTH

we went in 2006 and had a 5&7 year old. We just rented the stroller they had there. Did things like leave a map taped to the top to personalize it. That way i did not have to worry about it being gone...after about the 2nd day we were so comfortable that we often forgot things in the stroller (like bags of souvenirs etc...yes my wife even left our digicam on the thing while we were watching philharmagic.) Just rent one there. They are big and comfy. I even sat in while waiting around.
