Tonight burritos - wraps, beef, tomatoes, refried beans, lettuce, salsa, sour cream, cheese, black beans - everyone makes their own.
Last night we ate gyros, fruit and salad. We worked the weekend so I wanted something quick and easy.
Tonight will be pasta with pesto, bread and salad. I had an abundance of fresh basil so I made a big patch of pesto this morning. DH won’t even try pesto so I have a jar of vodka sauce for him. My DD’s love pesto.
DH decided he wanted a snack & wanted me to try a simulation of a French bread caprese pizza with the two pieces of Texas Toast we had leftover. I gave it a try & have to admit it was better than the French bread version. After having a substantial snack, we didn't feel like a full meal, so dinner tonight was a wrap w/chips.
Last night, DH wanted grilled hotdogs w/chili & onions & seasoned fries. That didn't sound good to me, so I compromised with a chili, cheese hotdog & made some homemade potato salad for me. My preferred hotdog would have been slaw, chili & onions, but I didn't have the ingredients I needed to make slaw.
Threw some chicken in the instant pot last night. going to make hubby a chicken burrito from it tonight for dinner. I might just have a yogurt. It's a hot one today.
