Can you share your oven fried chicken recipe? I can never get mine to turn out right.Oven fried chicken thighs with baked potatoes and green beans.
It’s nothing fancy. My husband likes everything pretty plain. Preheat oven to 425. Put 1/4 cup of shortening and 1/2 stick of butter in a foil lined 9x13 baking pan and put in oven enough time to melt shortening and butter until it’s sizzling a little but not burning. Keep your eye on it. Toss chicken in combination of flour, paprika, salt and pepper. Place in pan SKIN SIDE DOWN first and bake for about 20-25 minutes. I use bone-in thighs with skin. Turn over and bake another 20 minutes. Drain on rack or paper towels. We love this chicken. I don’t make it too often cause the skin is just too irresistible not to eat.Can you share your oven fried chicken recipe? I can never get mine to turn out right.

Beyond Meat burgers, homemade sweet potato fries, with garlic/lemon aioli and a spinach salad with homemade balsamic dressing.
Thanks for bumping this. I had my Covid booster yesterday evening & it hasn't been so pleasant. DH is making me Ramen noodles. I need some warm, comfort food. Beef stew sounds great!Beef stew
