Woo Hoo!! I've marked my calendar to make an ADR at Via Napoli on Aug 6th! Now I just have to wait for La Hacienda to start taking ressies and I will be set!

I saw yesterday on a facebook update that you could start making ressies on 8/6 and thought of you!!!

i just saw the note on Via Napoli too- now we need to know when the Hacienda will start taking ADRS!! love all the updates- so glad you got FD and saved a ton on the trip and airfare! crazy what a day or two change can do on airfare.

and the wishes party- love it! we did it this past December and had a ball (except it was really cold/windy and we were not prepared for it). food was great and we had the best tables in the place (right up front). you will love it!

the tour sounds fun too- we might have to try it sometime.

oh and all the pics are great- the cake was amazing- and love the rose themed cupcakes too- what a great idea!

So much to comment on and so glad the kids are still sleeping so I have a minute to comment!

I LOVE all the pictures from the summer. So many of them are just amazing. Eva.... OMG what an ADORABLE little munchkin. I want to hold her!!! So cute. Emily's Birthday looked AWESOME...... I loved her cake.

Ok onto Disney updates!! YIPPEEEE for saving money! I think shortening the trip in this case with it being Eva's first trip and saving all the MULA is the right thing to do!! BUT I see you are missing the WAVE and Artist Point now!? aww

One think I noticed and wasnt sure if you knew was that you mentioned getting park hopper if you wanted to go to AK.... Did you know that you can just get an extra single day ticket and its soooo cheap.... When we know that we will go to two park on one day but not every day of the trip it is so much cheaper to just buy an extra single day onto your package than the park hopper. Does that make sense?

Ok so how much is the wishes dessert party?? I am thinking that might be something fun for my crew of 14.

Hey Nickie! We have been having a great summer, we only wish we lived closer to you so you could hang with us!!

Most of the great pic were taken by Stephanie. She has an D-SLR and takes amazing pictures! Wait until you see the ones she took of Eva today!! Speaking of Eva, she is a cutie! She would love for you to hold her, she never wants to be put down!!

As for Disney...I did switch Cali Grill to Artist Point, but we had to nix The Wave, although I still have my ressies. We'll see if I can squeeze it in or we can eat there together in October 2011!!

OMG! I did not know you could do that with the tickets!! So, you're saying we could get a 7 day instead of a 6 day ticket and use 2 of those days in one day, say at AK & DHS? I might have to think about that and so some shuffling!! COOL!! Thanks for the tip

Oh and I think the Wishes Dessert Party is around $25 for adult and $15ish for the kiddos 3-9! It was $70 for the 4 of us (Eva's free)!!

I'd check more into the using more than one of your one-day tickets in the same day to be sure. Everything I've seen has said that you can't do this. I was reading a trip report the other day that said someone had trouble getting into Epcot for an ADR because they had gone to DHS earlier in the day and did not have park hoppers.

Hey Wendy . I am sorry I have been MIA for so long . I can't believe Eva is 6 months old now......where does time go? The pictures of your girls are precious, Emily is beautiful . We will be at Disney in December too, just not 100% sure about our dates. I'm thinking December 4th(or 6th) to check in and December 10th(or 11th) to check out. I'm not sure about the dates because I am waiting for the AP rates to come out so we can decide when and where. I also need to decide if we are going to MVMCP or do the Candlelight Processional package.

We tried this last year (two one day ticket for one day) because we made ADRs in the wrong park... they wouldn't let us do it. We opted to cancel the ADR since $52 per ticket wasn't worth the ADR.

Yesterday, I was checking out flights and our perfect flight on Delta was $138 + tax, so $478.20 total. Well, I went to book the flights last night and the price went up $60 a ticket. RIDICULOUS!! I can either book Airtran and Spirit at my original Delta price, but the times on Delta are better. Sooooo ANGRY!! I think I'll just wait for prices to drop again! Keep your fingers crossed!

On Saturday, the girls and I met up with Leanne (leamom2princesses), her DH Joe and their beautiful DD's Lindsey & Josie (they were in town for a wedding), along with our old DIS friends Stephanie (Charlefours), her DH Allyn & their spunky DD Lilian!! Leanne and I have been DIS friends for nearly 2 years so it was like meeting up with an old friend!

Our girls hit it off immediately and now Emily has 2 more BFF's! We had a wonderful lunch, talked about Disney and did some shopping at the Disney store, of course! Stephanie and I were able to get some great info on DVC from Leanne and Joe! However, we are bad DISers because we didn't get any pictures! I know, can you believe that!

Overall, it was a fun afternoon and Emily can't wait to see Josie and Lindsey again in October 2011!
