With four kids I don't think I'll ever get to stay Deluxe...but I'm secretly dreaming for DH and I for our 10 year anniversary trip in about 2 years .

Can't WAIT to hear and see all about WDW at Christmas time...I've never been that time to see all the decorations and magic that goes along with it!

2 months! Time flies! Any new Disney nights coming up?

So, I went to check my ADR's on the Disney website and only 1/2 of them are listed. I tried to pull them up by confirmation number and NOTHING!! I'm freaking a little, but I know there are many other DISers experiencing the same problems since the Disney reservation system was down last week. I have all of my emails showing my reservations and confirmation numbers so I'll just make sure to take all of those with me on the trip, as I usually do anyway. Kind of frustrating though! Hopefully, the maintenance they are doing on the 19th/20th will resolve the problem.

I think I might start packing this week since we are no longer able to wear warmer weather clothes here, it's getting cooler. I love the fall!

It's so hard to pack for December. I need warm weather clothes and cool weather clothes. I know I've seen some people at Disney in coats, hats and mittens, but I'm assuming those are the people coming from the south or places with mild winters who think that 50 is cold! We'll be going to Disney while our weather here is 30 degrees on a good day with snow likely, so 50 is like summertime to us!!

Wendy- of my many times to Disney in December (at least 12), most of the time I've been able to wear shorts. The mornings usuallly bring a bit of fog and some cool weather. When the sun goes down you will probably need those mittens and hats especially if you're planning on staying for Illuminations or the like.

We've been able to swim on every trip we've taken, even the trip that included snow.

That is scary about your ADR's!! Why don't you call 407 wdw dine and ask them to pull up your reservations with your confirmation numbers? I had done that before my last trip just to make sure everything was all set!

I can't believe you are that close that you can start packing!!!

We went in December once, and it was cool (sweatshirts) in the AM, and warm during the day and then at night we would need the sweatshirts again. Myles was 9 months old, so I had some blankets for him in his carriage at night and he was good!

We got an ADR for La Hacienda as well, hoping to catch Illuminations too- i hope we get a good seat!!!

yep, i have the same ADR issue- only 3 of mine are showing up. i am going to give it a few more days, since they just finished hte second upgrade yesterday. i know everyone that has called said that the CM's found their ressies (in the backup system i guess?). So far no one has completely missed theirs, so they are there, we just can't see them apparently. Us planners have all our confirmation #s anyways, right?

i am with you on packing, i might start this weekend as well! i am one of those southerners (Dallas) who is cold in the 50s. although we've been twice in early december now and the first trip, we had a night where it was in the 30s and people were in coats, mittens, scarves etc. This past year, our WISHES dessert party night, it was super windy and chilly. this poor couple next to us from the UK had two kids and they were all in shorts and tank tops and it was in the 40s easily and temps dropped quickly that night. they were NOT prepared at all and begging to borrow jackets from anyone at the party for the kids or towels or whatever. hey, but you can always shop if you need something, right?


i wished i had more than my light jacked that night. i just plan on layers and always carrying my hoodie with me. i even get cold in the restaurants. you should be fine if you are used to the cooler temps.

Packing for December IS hard! We find the FL weather to be such a relief from the brrrrr cold. We go swimming as people shake their heads at us and rush past in their sweatshirts

Hey Nickie!! I haven't called about my ADRs yet, but I'm not too worried because I have my conf numbers and emails because I booked all our dining online. They're still not showing up on the website though.

I hope everyone had a HaPpY HaLlOwEeN! Emily dressed up as Little Bo Peep and Eva was her sheep. They were too cute!

Zoo Boo at the local zoo!

At the Zoo Boo, they had pumpkins set up and painted like the movie UP! I had to share with my DIS friends who I knew would appreciate them!

I'd have more pictures from our trip to the Little Boo at the Zoo, but Stephanie (Charlefours) took most of the pictures that day and she's slacking on getting them posted!! She says she's been busy with something called school and some sort of life!! Whatevs!!






Today I ordered our MVMCP tickets with our Disney Rewards points! Gotta love getting things for free!!




Finally, My Dad gave me some money for my bday so I bought this beauty!

I'm hoping to get us packed in 3 carry-on bags and one large, but not too large checked bag!
