We've booked the babies 1st trip and she's not even born yet! Dec 2010!

yeah for double digits!!! now the countdown to the single digits, right? :goodvibes

I'm late as usual, but...
:yay: DOUBLE DIGITS!!! :yay:

I can't believe your trip is so close already; seems like yesterday you were just introducing us to Eva...

need to go back and catch up on what I have been missing... and I so need to move your thread into the regular folder. I tried to organize all the threads and that was a huge mistake...ended up missing out on you and Stephanie's PTR's ....moving you now so I can keep up again...sorry!

To my loyal readers, I'm sorry I've been such a bad DISer this summer! We've had such a beautiful and busy summer that I haven't had the time or energy to DIS like I should. If you're reading this...Thanks for sticking around!

Mike is starting to get excited for Disney! He loves Disney, but doesn't usually get excited about it until a couple of weeks before we go, but I think because he has been working so much since starting this new job back in January that the thought of not working for a week is starting to really appeal to him!

He is so funny! When I start planning our vacations, he's always concerned about cost and not wanting to go overboard, but as the vacation gets closer, he's always thinking of adding stuff like price is no object. For instance, last year we started out with 7 nights/8 days at the Poly in a garden view room with the buy 4 get 3 promo and the DDP. Perfect right? Well, by the time we left for Disney we were staying 10 night/11 days garden view with the DxDP. We ended up switching to lagoon view on our 3rd day and then we were upgraded to consierge level!

On Sunday, we were at the coney for breakfast and Mike chimes in with, "What will it cost to updgrade to consierge at the WL? He's a nut! I looked into it and it is available, but I'm not sure it's really worth it. I'm still thinking about it!:confused3

Anyway, that's where we are at right now! We'll see how many changes we make between now and December!!:thumbsup2 86 more days!!:yay:

Wendy. I think you might want to upgrade. Roaring Forks is very limited in food choices so it might be nice to have the consierge snacks to nibble on. :)

Happy now less than 100 days!! And single digits. Jeff is the same way-especially when we are there!! I say upgrade if ya can!!

Still here! :) Concierge level is on our list of things we want to try eventually. It would definitely be fun if you upgraded but it might not be worth it, especially since y'all are on the dining plan. If you're going to be at the resort a lot though, maybe the snacks would be nice. If it were us this trip, I'd be very tempted to, but I'd probably end up not upgrading.

I AM HERE!!!!! But you knew that!!!:goodvibes

I can't believe the summer is over! Your trip is going to be here before you know it. Do you have some cute clothes picked out for the kids?? I bet you can't wait for Eva to experience Disney for the first time!!! And for the pictures of the girls with the characters! I am trying to think back when Owen was a baby and Myles was 4..... I remember Owen and I spent quite a bit of time together! It was a very different trip because it was more relaxed and we napped more lol. You guys are going to have an amazing trip. :lovestruc

I know what you mean about changing plans :rolleyes1. I change mine so many times it isn't funny. Before we left two weeks ago I tried to change us from Sports to Pop.....:lmao:, but they didn't have any rooms.

Double Digits!
Double Digits!
Woo Hooty Shake Your Booty;)

I will faithfully stand by you through DIS dry spells, and moist ones as well:thumbsup2

Have you decided about concierge yet??

woo hoo on concierge- did you guys decide on it or not? sounds like he is really excited too!! i love it when the DH gets a little burst of anticipation too.

hey, it isn't fun planning if you don't make a ton of changes. :wizard::laughing:

Hiya Wendy! I've been a horribly bad DISer as well. Congrats on double digits!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1: I will be at 10 days on Friday! Can't wait to do online check in!!

Did you upgrade your Dec vacay?

Hello DIS friends!! Here is a little teeny update for you!! We secured an 8pm dinner ADR at La Hacienda de San Angel to watch Illuminations. Hopefully we can get a window seat. I originally read there was going to be outdoor seating on a second level, but it doesn't appear to be that way. I'm kind of second gurssing whether we really want to eat here now. :confused3

I decided against CL at the WL. It would be nice, but I just can't justify the price. $650 is a lot for some snacks and turndown service. It might be worth it if I was having the consierge staff plan my vacation, but I've got that under control! Maybe we'll get upgraded again!:thumbsup2

On a personal note: We've had to bust out the baby gates because Eva is officially mobile! She started crawling this week. She usually crawls to the nearest thing she can pull herself up on!! She'll be walking in no time!:scared1: Actually, that might be nice if she could walk by the time we left for Disney so we don't have to hold her through the lines!!;)

Now that summer is over and we are settling back into a routine, we decided to start Disney Nights again. We kicked it off with "Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue"! The movie was really cute and much better than The Lost Treasure!

On the menu:
  • Tink Turnovers (Puff Pastry filled with chicken, mozz & provolone cheeses and tomato brushetta sauce) YUMMY!
  • Fruity Fairy Wands
  • Rosetta's Garden Salad
  • Pixie Cakes, complete with gold pixie dust!

There you have it!

What a fun night! I think my next night will be Tink, too.
The girls are getting so big!:lovestruc

What a fun movie night! The downside to having a son as opposed to a daughter is we are missing out on all the princessy stuff!

Emily is looking just like you!!! Don't you think!!? Great job on the Tinkerbell Night!!!! So fun!! Your trip is coming right up! I was second guessing Hacienda too - but the menu looks great. I am sure people go outside when Illuminations starts. Have you read any reviews yet of the view?

Whew, all caught up! Now, I am officially joining your PTR! Your girls are adorable! I'm jealous as the mother of all boys, lol. If I tried to do a fairy meal night, I'd get set out to pasture, lol. Although, my DS1 loves princess movies, especially Beauty & the Beast, & he did sit thru the new Tink movie, which I agree, was way better than The Lost Treasure.
Enjoying your PTR, we are planning on going next December so I'm using you as a guide, hehe. popcorn::
