Wet, Sweat, Fun & Sun But You Have HOW Many Snack Credits Left?

Well you're here now!!! The kids did really good and having the TSA expedite the process was helpful.

This is the original we loved!!

I'm not sure about the 6 top table either since the reservation clearly stated 8 people & 1 of them in a wheelchair. There were only place settings for 6 people too.

YAY!!! I missed the ticker before I hit reply......when are you going??? I'll be there the end of February!!

We are going the third week of October and going to go to a Halloween party :) now to think of costumes that are easy to make and pack?!!

So what treats did everyone get made?

The treats will be coming up!!

Fun time to go!! We've done the Halloween Party at WDW in 2013 but never done the Disneyland one. I'm sure it's pretty close to the same thing. We got to see some rarer characters and do pictures with them, you get to Trick-or-Treat at different locations in the park, they have a parade and fireworks and lower crowds so you can get on some of your favorite rides.

Costumes.........I think hitting Pinterest might be a good way to get ideas.

Yes it all kinda just worked out :) there is a week where DD11 has only 2 days, so we are going to use up our air miles for tickets, got some cheap flights from Bellingham and we are going to the Land for a week! We will have 5 day hoppers plus do a party :)

Here are our creations from Goofy's Candy Co. This actually became a breakfast before we headed out the Disney's Hollywood Studios on the 12th.

They were heavy from the chocolate & toppings. Way to much to eat in one sitting and super sugary!!

YAY!!! Sounds like it will be a great trip!!!

How on earth am I so late to the party? I'm here!!

Okay I love everything!! But, one thing just sticks with me. The pilot and the TSA guy. In the time it took them to tell you they weren't the info desk they could have helped you. How rude!!

Just read up and loving the info. I got to hear and see some from your FB post but of course much more info here.

Wow! I made it! Just saw your link on FB...so many great pictures & details of your trip so far! Can't wait to read more. It sure brings me right back to WDW, we haven't been since 2003! Our kids are all "growed" up now, one just got married last month for gosh sakes! They were only 8 & 11 when we were there last. We did stay at the Poly, thank you for the memories, but I am sad to see the waterfall gone! :( I just remember the sound & smell as you walked in. Very sad! Looking forward to more excitement!! Love the food porn, btw!!

I am loving the pictures and report so far. A Mickey Krispy is a MUST at some point during the trip! ;)

Your kids are beautiful. I adore the matching outfits!

Love the update. I am glad to see the DTD (I will always call it that LOL) hasn't changed THAT much. I mean in some ways it has in that when we first went they still had Pleasure Island which was lots of fun but otherwise I am glad they still have a lot of the statues and stuff. I was just going to ask about the xmas one as I love that one and we always get a pic with it. Glad to see it is still there.

Your photos of Disney Springs are so great and bring back many memories and get me so excited about my trip! I could spend a few hours there as there are so many things to see (and eat!). Your treats and sundae looked amazing!

I love the mossy trees even though it's not so great for the host tree. Always lends that mystical deep south feel...

I'd forgotten that the volcano "erupts". I'll need to make sure we look for that when we venture there next year!

Welcome Michele!! I agree, they could have at least said "the information booth is over there & they should know that answer" but it was the snotty response I found to be rude and unjustified.

Ok those treats look so yummy!!!!!!!

They are, in small doses.....lol

Welcome Kelly!! I bet staying at the Poly back in 2003 was much more affordable then it is now! Kinda crazy the prices they charge! The lobby feel just isn't the same, lots more seating but it lost it's *+*+*Magic*+*+*.

Welcome!! Mickey Krispy's ARE a must....whether it be Disneyworld or Disneyland. Thank you, I had a couple matching outfits but I can't remember....this may be the only day they matched.....lol

Thanks Kelly! Still a lot of construction & walls going on & now they will be closing Disney Quest to make an interactive NBA experience....or something like that.

Enjoying your trip report.

Welcome Shirley!! Thank you!!

Lots of restaurants I'd like to try but we never seem to schedule any meals there. The Ghiradelli sundae was delicious!!

The mossy trees are something to see.....I didn't realize it was a problem until Derek was telling us about them.

I love watching the volcano!

We got back to Pop Century and changed to go swimming. Derek & I went to Petal's Bar to get drinks for us & Mike. Derek got the Pina Colava (Bacardi Razz, Bacardi Pina Colada & Raspberry Puree), I got the Black Cherry Lemonade (Grey Goose Cherry Noir Vodka, Odwalla Lemonade, Fresh Lime Juice, Grenadine & Sprite) and I got Mike the Mangorita (Patron Silver Tequila blended with Mango Puree and topped with Passion Fruit & Mango Foam). I loved mine and Mike's.....didn't try Derek's since I'm allergic to coconut.

We got the kids in the pool after putting a life jacket on Michayla. She's probably the last one that needed one, but she tends to wander and this way we know she'd be safe. Shy & Jasmin tend to stay close to the wall or family members. Shyann jumped off the side without holding any one's hand and Jasmin started putting her whole head under water....which is huge for a kid that has had some water trauma in her life. Derek took Addy across the pool from where we were to participate in the games & dancing they do through out the day poolside.

Y.M.C.A.

Even Derek had to join in......lol

The kids had a blast playing in the pool and I had fun playing with them. I'm not a person to put on a swimsuit and go out in public.....but I figured, I don't know these people and I want to enjoy the pool with my kids. I got out there and felt MUCH BETTER about myself......at least I wore a suit that covered things up!

On a side note, I understand that different countries have what is considered "acceptable swimsuits" but at a family resort with tons of kids.....the suits that are like G-strings are NOT ok. My 14 yr old hormonal son does NOT NEED TO SEE YOUR ENTIRE BUTT!!! There really should be rules!

Joining in :)

It looks like you guys are having so much fun already, well except the Kona brekkie!!

Your kids are adorable and you're a wonderful Mom :goodvibes

I'm loving your make your own treats, we have to make one every trip and they last for ages :)

Mike got a couple more pictures from around the pool area before putting the camera back in the room & coming back in the pool for a while.

We got out of the pool and got dressed, as the kids watched a little Disney cartoons.....I went over to the gift shop to buy the girls autograph books for the next day. We headed to the bus stop to get on the bus for Hollywood Studios. We are going to take the Friendship Boat from HS to the Yacht & Beach Club for our dinner.

The girls posed with the Frozen Topiary in front of Hollywood Studios before heading to the dock to catch our boat.

While in line, the kids spotted the little lizard.....we saw many of these on our trip.

Welcome!! With everything not so great on this trip, we still had an amazing time.

Thank You!!

I think we could have done half the treats and then shared them......but we were there for 11 nights....so it worked out!

We loaded onto the Friendship Boat to make our way towards Yacht Club.
**Wheelchair/scooters can load onto the boat & they can stay in their chairs for the boat ride.**

These pictures are as we left Hollywood Studios, passing the Boardwalk Resort, a stop at Swan & Dolphin and then onto the Yacht & Beach Club.

We arrived at the Yacht & Beach Club and headed towards the Beach Club & Cape May Café. Mike took these pictures as we looked for the restaurant/main lobby.

Inside Beach Club's lobby & some outside shots, as we waited to be paged for our seating.
