Wet, Sweat, Fun & Sun But You Have HOW Many Snack Credits Left?

Nice update. I agree about going to the pool. I look like a whale but if I'm hot I will def go in. My suit is like shorts but I don't give a rip. Mom and I usually stick to the spa which esp after walking all day feels awesome. Interested what you thought of Cape May

We checked in at 7:05pm and were seated at 7:38.......ADR was at 7:20pm. Mike only took one picture of the buffet.....not sure how that happened.

Here are some pictures of some of the plates of food we got the Cape May's Seafood Buffet.

Some of our dessert plates.

Our dinner was super good!!! I would go back to this buffet any time!! Lots of yummy seafood~~crab legs, clams, cod, salmon, clam strips to name a few. The service was pretty good, drinks kept filled and dirty plates removed in a timely manner.

After dinner, we headed back to the dock to catch the Friendship Boat back to Hollywood Studios and the buses. These were taken from the dock.

We saw some of the fireworks from Epcot's Illuminations as we waited on the boat.

Hot tubs at the Values would be nice........

We rode the Friendship Boat back to Hollywood Studios and headed to the Pop Century Bus Stop. As we waited on the bus, the Frozen Fireworks went off in Hollywood Studios.

Back to Pop and ended our day.

Today, we got to experience almost every mode of travel available at WDW: We took the buses, both Monorail routes, and rode ofnthe Resort Launch Boats, Ferry Boat, Sassagoula Boat and Friendship Boats.

We ate at Kona Café, Ghiradelli Ice Cream and Cape May Café.

We saw either by walking around & exploring or passing by on boat or monorail, these resorts: Contemporary Resort, Grand Floridian Resort, Polynesian Resort, Old Key West, Saratoga Springs, The Treehouses @ Saratoga, Boardwalk Resort, The Swan & The Dolphin Resorts, Yacht Club & Beach Club.

We got to swim & see fireworks. Quite a lot accomplished for a non-park day!!

So do you mean there are no spas at the values? Oh man I can't imagine. Eventough it is so hot you prob wouldn't want a spa this time of year we still love it esp on our tired feet. The food looked really good. We have mostly eaten at the parks or DTD. The only others we have done were California Grill at Contemporary which was amazing and Narcooses at GF which was also amazing and we did that when we had free dinning so had fillet and Lobster. Oh and Ohana twice. Love that place! We must have had a 400 bill for the 4 of us and of course NO charge. That was awesome. We have also just had ice cream at Beaches and Cream and dinner once at the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk. Oh and we ate at Artist Point at Wildnerness Lodge and I think we ate at Whispering Canyon but can't remember and we have done Boma twice. I think that is all. Never even been to Port Orleans or some of the others. We also had to eat at one of the restaurants at DVC in 08 cuz it was all we could get. Can't remember the name but was not good. I think it was at OKW. Shutters I think it was. But anyway loving everything!!

Wow your non park day made me need a nap! Love seeing the smiles on your kids faces. I love when I get to see everything through the eyes of first timers. Looking forward to the rest!

No, no hot tubs, sauna's or spas at the values. It would have been nice, but we survived.

Welcome!!

LOL....It actually seemed like a lot but it was a lot of easy traveling either by boat or monorail.

The kids really were enjoying themselves!!

Impressive!! I have never eaten at the seafood buffet before (we're not seafood eaters). Derek's YMCA pics crack me up :rotfl2: I do have trouble telling which one is Jasmin and which one is Addy

Oh wow. Well probably too hot to go in them anyway but I bet it would have felt good on your sciatica.

We love seafood.....Shy LOVES crab.....just need to teach her how to crack the shells herself......lol

Derek said he got lots of practice doing the YMCA, being a lifeguard at the Contemporary Resort!

It is kinda funny the similarities in the 2 girls considering they came from 2 different families.

Yeah, my back & hips would have liked it after our flight.....that was my worst night of sleep.

I love how Derek is such a good sport, playing at the pool with the younger ones! Oh, and Tony is looking so grown up!

He had a good time....he's a good big brother!!

Tony is starting high school next Monday.....a 9th grader, can't believe it!

I have no idea how to quote out one pic but I LOVE the pic of you and Shy in the water looking at the camera smiling! It's so great, and sure shows the Disney happy place.

Those fireworks shots are AMAZING! What good timing!!

Thank you...I was pretty nervous being in a swimsuit and Mike having his camera out.......lol

It was great getting to see them and we could hear some of the music (depending on the bus traffic). We didn't have plans on staying to see these, so we got to see them anyways and we were in line for the bus....so we miss the crowds!!

August 9~~Our first park day~~Magic Kingdom!

We got up at 5:30 so we could be out at the bus stop by 6:30am. The last I had looked on the Disney app.....the park was opening at 8am and we wanted to see the opening show. We got the girls dressed in their princess dresses and took this picture of Michayla. I had to do her hair as she wouldn't be doing the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique like her sisters (she wouldn't sit still and tolerate that).

We got out to the bus and we were pretty much the only ones out there. The driver asked if we had a breakfast reservation somewhere & we said no. Guess that should have been a warning that we were out there way too early. We got to the park to find out it doesn't open until 9!

So we caught the Resort Monorail over to the Contemporary to have some breakfast. We got off the monorail & headed to the elevator.

Here's a look at the Mary Blair Mosaic at the Contemporary.

I had Mike lay on the floor and shoot up for this view!!

We headed to the quick service location, taking a picture of the Chef Mickey sign and then the Contempo Café sign where we'd be eating.

You order at the register and are given a pager for your order.
**If you have food allergies, let them know at the register & they will have a chef come meet with you and take your order**

The Bounty Platter.

The Breakfast Platter.

The Breakfast Sandwich.

French Toast with Cherry Compote & choice of meat.

Breakfast Burrito.

Gluten-Free Mickey Waffles, Adult & Child Plates.

A few more assorted pics from the Contemporary.

I apologize for the pictures being so big.....I just had to open a new Photobucket account and the settings must need tweaked!!
