We're back! BWV trip report - January 1st - 9th 2011

Thanks for posting your link here. I especially enjoyed reading about the GV since I have booked one for part of our group next October. I hope they are lucky enough to get the villa you got rather than one of the 2 story ones because they will have 2 toddlers in that room and I don't want those families worrying about the babes on the steps. (Was your room 3037?)
ITA with your assessment of how nice BWV is for someone in a scooter. My DH also uses a scooter and we try everything possible to avoid the buses because I have read some comments on these boards about the resentment some folks have regarding loading scooters onto buses. It is just so darn easy getting to Epcot and DHS and it is easy enough to drive to Animal Kingdom (we always rent a minivan for that very reason).
We also love spending time on the balcony at night and it sounds like you made good use of the wonderful balcony.
Your report was detailed but not too much, just a pleasure to read. Thanks for taking the time to share.

We did have 3037 and it was fantastic. We didn't want a 2 story becasue of the elderly people in the group but didn't need the handicap room because my dad is not bound to a wheelchair. 3037 was the perfect choice.

We are lucky that my dad can walk a bit so when we take the bus we take the wheelchair along and fold it up when he gets on the bus.

However, there were a couple times when we took the bus and he used his skooter. Shame on anyone that resents my dad for having MS and taking a few extra minutes to get on the bus. If thats' how they feel and the kind of people they are then I don't care about their opinions so it didn't even bother us. They'll meet their maker at some point and have to answer for being that type of person. Just my opinion. Don't let them cause you DH not to take the bus.

That's right!:thumbsup2
