I'm pretty surprised I didn't crash...or at least drop my phone and run over it. I think I just had a lucky moment!

As for my tweedle face, practice makes perfect! Nicole has a picture of me that I sent her that is a pretty good indicator of what my tweedle face will look like. I don't have it on the computer though, it's on my phone and I can't upload right this sec. I'll have to show you some time.

Shew! What a crazy week that was! A FUN crazy week!

I'm not sure I have enough space for all the images. (I know there is not, I had to remove some of my smilies...you'll have to use your imagination) Well I know I don't for all that I took, but I won't share them all, all of them were posted on FB, so these will be repeats for quite a few of you.

The week started off with a BANG! Savannah, her friend Eleanor, and I went into STL to see Christina Perri in concert. I bought special VIP passes so Savannah could meet her and WOW, it was amazing. She's still on cloud nine about it.

Selfie before the 1 1/2 drive in...

They made her a gift out of clay (it represents her new album) and brought 1 photo each that I had taken when we went to her 2011 concert, for her to sign.

She was enchanted with it, so friendly and really talked to the girls and made them feel special.

Now we know how to get Savannah to smile big! LOL

She signed their photos as well, after we headed out and down the stairwell, they both started crying. It was cute.

We knew the VIP pass would get us closer to the stage but didn't realize that so few people got the passes and that it actually meant that we would be FRONT.ROW. WOW. They could literally reach out and touch her (and did when she was singing and reached out to them)

We were so close I was worried about getting good photos, this is not zoomed or cropped in any way:

We were so close that I couldn't get a full body shot of her very often, unless she stepped waaaaay back, but who cares about the shots when you are THIS close to the stage???

I'll spare you the hundreds of shots I took. It was a great concert and we all had a blast.

The rest of the week was full of petsitting and running, I got in another 12 miles this week. Had a really bad run and a really good run, that seems to be how it goes!

Saturday was the Annual Sip-n-Savor wine festival in my town. Another great day. I had to pace myself b/c I had to petsit in the evening, which was fine, I only got jealous once when I saw a group of very drunken loud women laughing at something that clearly made no sense to the rest of us. One of them was yelling SILVER DICK!! over and over and I had no idea why this was so funny, but found out later it was a fantastic type of wine (and then proceeded to buy a bottle in hopes that I could get drunk enough on another day to yell SILVER DICK loudly and embarrass myself too)

One of my friends had to bring along her little one as well and to be honest, that dulled my crazy a bit. I don't make a habit of acting a drunken fool in front of kids, even if they are sleeping most of the time.

On the SLUSHBUS, a van that takes you around to a couple of the wineries for tastings too.

I bought a tank that says I conquered the slushbus...I'm so classy, I put it on over my dress.

I really wasn't drunk...just being silly.

I did find Strongbow (a cider that I first tried at Epcot this last February) and I had a bit of that...and I told you I was classy, I had it in a wine glass.

Since I couldn't have the amount of booze that I wanted, I decided to obsess over cupcakes. Thanks Tammie, for creating a monster.
Luck would have it (after asking every place we went if they had cupcakes) I found them! and SCORE...they had booze in them!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic week! This week is a bit more subdued. Ok, it's downright boring...but the sun is going to be out and temps are going to be in the 80s, so I know I'll get some good runs in!

It looked like a FANTASTIC weekend. I absolutely love the wine glass holders. Those really are awesome & I really do want one. Had I known these existed and you had access- I would have had you buy several for me.. for gifts for all wine-o friends!

What fun! I'm jealous as my weekend consisted of NO ALCOHOL and just plain madness and chaos everywhere. And a lot of work on my part. So next year, I'll just plan on ditching the scouts in favor for the wine!

Because I TOTALLY need to experience that weekend. It. looked. Awesome!

P.S- Our tweedle items were delivered to our seamstress this weekend!

She *probably* would have found it funny, she was giving him water out of the wine glass at the end of the day and got a crazy look from someone and just laughed. I know my BFF Hope would have thought it funny. I missed my Tweedle's sarcasm, you must come next year so we can snark it up!

Strongbow... YUM. I love ciders. Angry Orchard is among my top. Mixed with some fireball whiskey of course to make it an angry pixie. I had the best pear cider after the donald in january. I have yet to find anything like it around home.

I KNEW I liked the name of that bus but couldn't put my finger on why! It reminded me of my favorite drink! No wonder!

Yes! It was a girl's week for me! Tons of fun. This weekend I'm making up for it by doing absolutely nothing except running 5 miles.

BEER and lager, actually. It made them SUPER MOIST but you couldn't taste the beer. Really good!

First off...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend and enjoys their day. It's going to be a quiet one here. My mom came out here last week, so I don't get to see her today and I have only ONE petsit! Quiet day at home with the kids, Dallas and I have a bike ride planned and the boys may b-bque dinner.

My Mom, Savannah, & I, last fall. My mom is going to be 82 in just a couple months! I hope I look like her when I'm in my 80s.

I had a nice week. Everything is turning green here and I ran a ton. I got in 16 miles, which is a lot for me. It's more than I have run since before the Princess Half and my injury. Knees feel GREAT! I also ran 5 miles, which was the longest run I have done since the half as well. I felt like I could keep going but I didn't because I have a tendency to injure myself when I go too far, too fast. My pace was great too, for 5 miles, so that was exciting for me. Not as good as last year, but I'm working on it (only so I have a good time to submit, not really b/c I have some number in my head that I feel I need to achieve)

I also had to get a new phone and when I went to look at the free upgrades, found a phone that is PERFECT for me! It's a true camera phone and I spent the rest of the week taking pics with it and testing it out. It's not my DSLR, but it's also not hard to lug around and I'm excited to get some quality shots with it at least. Wanna see some pics?

I don't find it too bulky but that was the biggest complaint in reviews. I knew it had to have some bulk to it to have a lens, but it's totally worth it.

I'm pretty pleased with it! It's nice to have a phone that works again too, I was sick of half my buttons not working on my phone.

That's about it! I feel kind of boring lately. It's b/c I have nothing snarky to say. I don't know what to do with myself when I can't be sarcastic and snarky.

Oh wait! I forgot I didn't post this on MY PTR, just my Tweedle's PTR. This should work ...

I had to come back and add a pic of Dallas & I from this morning. We went on a nice bike ride and he took a selfie with me. There was another selfie that didn't turn out so great, but only Nicole has seen that as I text her any and all selfies so she can learn from my mistakes!

Savannah is stuck with Apple and won't leave but she's the only one in the family still using an iphone. My switchover (a year or two ago) was easy. I found every single app I used except one (a certain Disney countdown) for my Samsung Galaxy and there actually seemed like so many more options with the phone. Really user friendly and more options, which surprised me. Apple had me suckered. LOL. It did a LOT more than my apple ever did. Music is an issue for some people too, they have to convert ALL their mp4's over to mp3's but I didn't have that much to begin with when I switched.

Happy Monday tweedle! I'm trying to get over my anger at gaining 2 freaking pounds from ONE glass of wine and a piece of cake. I can run 5 miles and not lose anything but have a treat and gain 2 pounds?!?!

Nope, I just gain really easily and don't lose well at all. It will come back off in a week or two, but seems a bit lame to have to gain so much and then not just drop it back off immediately. First world problems. It was worth it to eat some of the cake Savannah made for me, she gets pretty excited when I eat something she's made b/c I usually don't. For all my talking about cupcakes, I don't usually eat sugary stuff unless on vacation b/c this is what happens! Gah!

It felt good to get some mileage in finally. I was injured and recovering for quite a while after the PHM and in a bit of a funk too!

Oh this could in no way replace my DSLR! It just does not get the creamy bokeh that I can get with my camera. It's great for snapshots though and at least I'm not cursing every shot for having too much noise and blur.

Have I mentioned I have a theory about selfies and how they are a positive thing? I used to hate photos of myself when I was younger and I feel like taking selfies allows girls to really SEE themselves and have more confidence and acceptance. Selfies are a self-esteem builder. Yep! I went all philosophical.

Howdy Howdy Howdy!

I'm trying to enjoy a little time down since my calendar is already starting to look crazy for Memorial Day weekend (and the week before & after it!) Gotta love holidays, or at least my bank account does. I am starting to stress over all the plans in the next year or so, everything is so expensive!! Ah!

I have two trips in February 2015 that I need money for and once December arrives, money will be basically gone. Jan & Feb are my slow months, so I need to make the most of the summer and get things paid for.

I did mention Playlist Live, right? I don't see it in my intro page. Anyway, it's in Orlando, Feb 6th-9th and it will be Savannah, two of her friends, and me. My friend Kim is going to come up as well to hang out with me. We'll do ONE whirlwind day at MK (we cannot go to Orlando and not do Disney!) and then the weekend will be spent meeting Youtubers. Well, I'll be at the pool with a drink most of the time. When I'm not, I'll be RUNNING b/c the Princess Half/Glass Slipper Challenge is just a few weeks after that! Eek!

Actually, when I get home, I'll have 10 days before I leave again. As far as finances are concerned, this is stressful and I need to make sure I have everything covered...so I need to get working on this saving!

ERMEGERD...I'm rambling. Sorry! Nevermind, I'm not sorry. Savannah says if you are really sorry you don't do it again...and I will...so I'm not sorry.

The boys finished up finals last night and are done with their first semester of college! Well, that's a bit of a lie, Dallas still has one class tonight but he's turning in a final paper, not taking a test, so we called it last night. I'm super proud and did I mention that Dallas graduated high school early and finished his first semester of college right when he would have been graduating high school?!?

I had to take embarrassing photos of them as they came out of the building. This was all I got b/c they were banishing me back into the car and scowling at me for taking pics in front of people. Hey! That's my freaking job man. If I can't take pics of you on your last day at college before summer break, what is this world coming to? Maybe not having to drive you to college? That's next on the list, summer driving so I don't have to play chauffeur to college. Seriously boys, if you don't want me taking pics, this is good motivation to learn to drive. (omg, I'm SO CHATTY!)

Dallas was mid-scolding...I think he was saying "WHAT are you doing?!?!??!"

Then I drove them to Subway and bribed them for another photo in the car. Don't they look all sweet? This is actually Dylan laying his head on Dallas' shoulder to annoy him and Dallas making the "are-you-serious-right-now" face.

They haven't changed much at all, have they?!?!

Oh and ignore the fact that apparently when my boys were little I couldn't hold a camera straight for my life?!?!

So...I guess that's my update for today. Huh. Kind of a letdown, even after all the rambling.
