I hope I look as good as your mom does when I am in my 80s. My goal is to keep running so that one day I can win my age group which, the way things are going, probably won't be until I am 80 . I took a selfie after one of my legs at my Ragnar on Cape Cod this weekend. The ocean was so beautiful!

My dh and I were just discussing possibly registering for next year's Ragnar (this summer is already sold out) I think it is doable... just 3 legs. Not a lot of sleep I understand, but I think it would be so cool to be able to say I did Ragnar!!

I'm trying to enjoy a little time down since my calendar is already starting to look crazy for Memorial Day weekend (and the week before & after it!) Gotta love holidays, or at least my bank account does. I am starting to stress over all the plans in the next year or so, everything is so expensive!! Ah!

Believe me... I totally understand. I just paid my bill for last month with all the race registrations on it.

I did mention Playlist Live, right? I don't see it in my intro page. Anyway, it's in Orlando, Feb 6th-9th and it will be Savannah, two of her friends, and me. My friend Kim is going to come up as well to hang out with me. We'll do ONE whirlwind day at MK (we cannot go to Orlando and not do Disney!) and then the weekend will be spent meeting Youtubers. Well, I'll be at the pool with a drink most of the time. When I'm not, I'll be RUNNING b/c the Princess Half/Glass Slipper Challenge is just a few weeks after that! Eek!

Actually, when I get home, I'll have 10 days before I leave again. As far as finances are concerned, this is stressful and I need to make sure I have everything covered...so I need to get working on this saving!

That sounds like a lot of fun! February will be an awesome month for you!

ERMEGERD...I'm rambling. Sorry! Nevermind, I'm not sorry. Savannah says if you are really sorry you don't do it again...and I will...so I'm not sorry.

I spent a lot of time yesterday rambling. So I get that too....

The boys finished up finals last night and are done with their first semester of college! Well, that's a bit of a lie, Dallas still has one class tonight but he's turning in a final paper, not taking a test, so we called it last night. I'm super proud and did I mention that Dallas graduated high school early and finished his first semester of college right when he would have been graduating high school?!?

You should be very proud!

I had to take embarrassing photos of them as they came out of the building. This was all I got b/c they were banishing me back into the car and scowling at me for taking pics in front of people. Hey! That's my freaking job man. If I can't take pics of you on your last day at college before summer break, what is this world coming to? Maybe not having to drive you to college? That's next on the list, summer driving so I don't have to play chauffeur to college. Seriously boys, if you don't want me taking pics, this is good motivation to learn to drive. (omg, I'm SO CHATTY!)

They haven't changed much at all, have they?!?!

Oh and ignore the fact that apparently when my boys were little I couldn't hold a camera straight for my life?!?!

So sweet! Kids grow up far to quickly, don't they???!!!!

Sometimes! Dylan has my features but is usually (when not spending all his time indoors like lately) darker skinned and has Rey's side of the families hair/skin. Dallas, on the other hand, has their features but my hair and skin tone. It's funny. Savannah just got ALL the goods, I know I'm bias, but she's the perfect mix of Rey & me. I tell her all the time I wished all my life to look "exotic" and never could pull it off.

Uh, I totally had to go back and figure out what my last update was. I need to finish my trip report so that I only have ONE place to update. I'm not the best multitasker. (or speller, according to spell check)


So what have I been up to...

Well, I've been up to my ears in KITTEN. Yep. Because having 2 hugea$$ dogs and 2 cats in my tiny 1380 square foot house was not enough for me to complain about, I brought a tiny little kitten home to add to the mix!

I couldn't help myself. I had a client I was petsitting for with a bunch of feral cats having kittens in her yard/barn and this little one was the runt and bone thin, crusted eyes, half the size of the other kittens and getting beat up. So, we have a new kitten! She's been with us a week and has really plumped up, what can I say, she likes her bottle.

Naturally I took a million photos of her, she had an official photo shoot a few days ago. She's "frosty" colored with blue eyes, and was VERY vocal for a few days, so Savannah came up with the name Elsa, which is perfect for her! Rey, however, refuses to call her that and calls her "PHrostie with a PH".

Seriously tiny, my hand is bigger than her (she's already grown since this shot a week ago!)

We've been trying to teach her to drink out of a bowl...you will see how well that went below...

and she's had a few baths b/c crusted on milk is gross people. She's looks like a drowned rat

Uh...what does that have to do with Disney??? Er. Well, RUNNING is Disney related b/c I'm going to RUN at Disney, right? So, I got a new pretty this week! Don't ask how many I have, I won't tell you. If I don't count them up, then I don't have to admit I've spent all the money I have on skirts.

Tweedle (I swear, I'm going to forget your name is Nicole at some point!) I really love slim cut as well so I got this pretty from someone selling it (never worn, just tried on) on the Sparkleboard!

Love it! I may have to get more slims...although I like running better in the swings b/c of the functionality of them.

And, last but not least and totally Disney related! Yesterday I purchased 1 day MK tickets for me and the girls (Savannah, Eleanor, and Isabella) for the Playlist live trip in early February. We decided to do one whirlwind day at MK! It's totally not a Disney-trip, we aren't staying on site either, but we cannot be in Orlando and not at least spend a day at MK! I'm pretty excited and glad I could get these now. It feels like most of the things I need money for I cannot purchase right now (airfare, hotel for playlist live, park ticket for PHM, Glass Slipper Challenge entry, etc) and that's frustrating because summer is when I make all my money.

Anywho, I will be able to put those away for me and the girls and I'm glad to at least have those purchased. Besides, I'm sure they will raise the price of tickets this summer, so it was a no-brainer to purchase them now.

Yhea on the new Slim. I love my Slim. It's my standard in the gym and running now. Looks fab on you!!!

And yhea on one day tixs to MK. Although that hurts doesn't it? The one day tixs are so expensive. That's what we did for the cruise. One day after.. and OUCH!!! But you can't be that close to Disney and not do ONE day at the most magical place on earth. It's a must!!!

You are totally not slacking, I don't think I actually mentioned it, which is crazy b/c it's a TRIP and this is a pre-TRIP report!

Initially I started this PTR for my trip by myself to run the GSC at the end of Feb. 2015 but it turns out that we found out that the Youtube convention that my daughter and her friends really want to go to (Playlist Live) is going to be in Orlando on Feb. 6-9th, so I'm going to Orlando TWICE in February 2015! I need to update on that trip more but since the tickets haven't gone on sale I'm not able to actually plan yet. I'm sure I'll make a big post here in the next few months when I have more info on it!

OMG! Your kitten is too cute. I wonder though... I have a feeling she is going to lose all that "frost" We found 12 hour old kittens a few years back and with no mommy...I became mommy. One of them had this same type of frosty grey to him. Once he shed his newborn kitten coat he turned jet black.

The new skirt is super cute! I really am hoping to invest in some more skirts here soon. I would prefer the kind with the shorts... but the sparkle ones like that are uber expensive. Rawthreads is having a sale though... another mystery sale. 3 skirts for $100. I am considering it... but then it is random and I wonder if i shouldn't just get a sparkle skirt instead.

For getting the park tickets. That is awesome! I get it too... how can you be in orlando and not go for even just a day??

ANOTHER SPARKLE SKIRT...I am so jealous. I have been looking at that pattern for a while but it is farther down on my list. Next up is either black silk or the new navy silk...I need another work horse... so worth the price to me...those DANG shorts and pockets...simply WONDERFUL!

I never seem to get in on the FOR SALES...no time to stalk the page like I need to! I have been thinking of slim cut, but I am a "hippie/thunder thigh" type of girl. You look so cute in it!!!!

I'm totally going to REPLY to you ladies when I'm done with this, I just want to get this posted b/c I seem to be in complete non-disney-planning-mode and I keep wanting to update and don't. I'll get it out of the way and then the comments are more fun.

Anyway, not a ton going on here for Disney planning since I purchased our 1 day tickets. They arrived very quickly and now just sit until I can do something productive with them like link them to our magicbands from our last trip. My ADR day will be coming up in August, which is kind of unbelievable!

Maybe more Disney planning will happen now that my Tweedle is home from her cruise and we can start counting down to Tweedlecrazyfun next February. Nevermind she has ToT to do in between that.

Elsa is growing really fast and that's our world right now. Her eyes are turning green, she's losing her "frosty" color a bit, she's doubled her weight (so now she's 1 pound 2 ounces!) and is jumping and running all over the place in crazy-kitty-play-mode...unless she's sleeping. Thank goodness she sleeps a lot!

She had her 6 week photo shoot the other day. Savannah made her an instagram (meowitgo) and said that she's going to be famous, so apparently she has to have a photo shoot every week.

She's already really good at it.

Her new collar (the smallest even made) is HUGE and she can't wear it yet)

and, after just 2 weeks in a house, out of the wild...she has totally forgotten anything from outside and is terrified of plants!

Savannah is completely in love with this kitten, it was hard for her to spend the night out and the first time she has since we got her. When she came home after sleeping out they crashed on the couch together.

Savannah went to her bff's 16th bday Saturday night (they surprised her) and had a blast with all her friends.

Then something pretty cool happened...

I woke up at about 4am that night and was checking instagram when this picture popped up...

So it might not seem like that big of a deal, but...remember when Savannah and Eleanor met Christina Perri in April?

If you don't want to go back and read, basically, they met her, it was fabulous, and they gave this to her:

So anyway, the first photo above is her posting the other night, after finishing the whole tour she pulled out what they made her, took a photo of it and posted it on Instagram. Out of the thousands of people she met and no doubt hundreds of gifts, she picked theirs and posted it! In social media this is kind of akin to winning the lottery, those are your odds. She also tweeted the photo as well! I texted Savannah immediately and her and Eleanor FREAKED out they were so excited and over the moon that she not only kept it but took a photo and mentioned it. Really exciting for them and I loved seeing Savannah so happy and excited.

So that's really all that's going on with me other than work and running. My running is kind of blah right now. I'm doing it, but feel like I'm just going through the motions of doing three 3-4 mile runs a week. I know part of that is because I'm not officially training for anything, but I do have a 10K in less than 2 weeks!

Hopefully NicoleTweedledum will start a new trip report about her cruise and I can live vicariously through her photos for a while so that my life doesn't seem so boring.

Thanks! They are almost totally green now! In the new pics I posted you can see they are half and half but it's just been a few days and they are almost all green now!!

I have black silk, my workhorse! In fact, she's a little loose b/c I have worn her SO MANY times, she's my go-to for training runs!

Good for you for maintaining though! You will rock the 10k I am sure! It is hard when there is nothing to train for. Do you have anything in the fall you can work towards? It will give you a good base to build off of for the GSC.

Yep, I dreamed a bit about getting an AP but realized I'm going twice but only for 4 park days total, so it wasn't worth it to get an AP...and I KNOW I cannot afford another trip! I wonder if they will have discounted tickets in 2015. Last year they stated that they did NOT have any discounted RunDisney park tickets and then I heard people saying they did have them. It aggravated me to no end! I'm not sure what I'll do for the PHM, needing a 3 day hopper. I won't wait until the last minute b/c I'll want to do my FP+ reservations at 60 days...

I have another 10K in the fall, it's my PR and I've raced it every year, so I'll work on my speed this summer/fall for that. Other than that, I just cannot get away (out of town) for any more races and we don't have many in our rural area. I want to work a bit on my speed but more on some lifting/cross training to make sure that when I start training again for a half in the fall that I don't end up injured again!
