Hi all!
Hope you are all going to have a wonderful weekend! DH is back in town, so we have a few errands to run tomorrow and we may spend the evening at City Walk. My family will be arriving Sunday afternoon when DH is leaving town. I am so excited to see them! My brother has a lot planned!
My Dad's 60th birthday is tomorrow!

We are going to celebrate it on Monday at Disney World, of course! We have reservations at the Flying Fish Cafe at The Boardwalk. I ordered him a cake yesterday to be brought out after our meal, so it'll be a big surprise for him!

I also got him the perfect gift! I got him a shirt from The World of
Disney Store that says, "Where You Can Be Grumpy All Day," and it has a picture of Grumpy on the back!

So perfect! I love it!
We also have reservations at Jiko at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for later in the week. We're letting my brother pick out all the Disney places he wants to eat at! I think we are also going to check out Cap 'n' Jacks at Downtown Disney. My brother also wants to go to Islands of Adventure, so we are going to spend a day there together! He's holding off on Disney for the big family trip this summer!
So, I'm not sure how my schedule will be for getting on The DIS, so I hope I can make time! The Trippie is not over yet!

It's been hectic here, so I haven't had much time to really sit down at the computer.
Okay, and I'm being "hush, hush" about this and I don't want to post too much about it here, but I did make it to the Casting Center yesterday. It was quite an overwhelming experience for me. I couldn't believe I was really there and the building as just gorgeous! Disney murals line the walls and there were gold character statues. I was in awe and just had to stare at the walls before I could even approach the front desk.
I don't want to write on here about a lot of the private details, but there is a process where you watch a 10-minute introduction video. I was literally sitting in the theatre with tears welling up in my ears hearing Walt Disney speak about his dream. I couldn't believe that my dreams were coming true and I was there.
The interview went quite well and I was able to apply for a position that is just what I want! I have a second interview next week with the department I would be working for and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get it! This would be an amazing job and lead me down the road of where I want to eventually be! I'll post more later, but for now, I will have to leave it at that.
Oh, and the best part was discussing how I will cover my tattoos! I enjoyed that conversation!

I did tell them I had a Tinker Bell tattoo! They were pretty impressed with that!
Have a magical weekend everyone!
