:wave2: Hi Lily! Don't forget HOUSE IS ON!!!!!!!!

Grr. I have no heat. Our furnace is busted, and it's going to be out until at least tomorrow. Grr. And it's like 38 degrees out.

RM...what day we gonna go to Germany???

If you're going for wine and some black forest cake, I want in, lol!

Schedule for next week for me has me off three full days, and I've got one day where I go in at 6pm! I'll get over to see my sistahs a time or two. I still have to get over to Mouse Surplus to get Kevin's Poly Armoire!

Back later-yet another long, but productive day at work.

Hey we can drink the wine after and eat the cake right after we have the shots of Goldslaugger (okay, I can't spell worth a damn and used my nifty fonics for that one :teeth: ) . What days you gonna be there?? I'll pm you my cell phone number so we can meet up.

To anyone else that has my number it hasn't changed in 7 years so if you have it from last year you are good to go.

I'm all packed and all the misc. crap is packed. Now I have to get the kids packed. I'll do that tomorrow afternoon!

Have a good evenign I'm going to call it a night.
NIGHT!! hehe

Hmmmmm, I think I just might have to join ya'll for that! Although, I could be perfectly happy with beer and a soft pretzel, too.

YAY for the Xbox, Sherry! I bet there's some very happy fellas at your house!

Karen, so sorry to hear about the furnace. Hey, do this  it will keep you plenty warm!!!

So, Tiara, when you pack the kids, do you pack them in a carry-on or just a big suitcase? I bet little E is just about duffle bag size...... :teeth:

Laine, your dinner sounds like it was sooooo good! Glad you can enjoy the time with your family.

 Todd! Get back to work! MJ said so!

 Mary Jo!!

Hey, Nancy! Great choice on my exchange name!! :teeth: BTW, thank you for the birthday card and the confetti. I just love opening your cards. Reminds, me, I found the instructions for making the neatest pop-up card--I'll have to make and send you one!!

Paula! Congrats to Chris on such a great score on his driver's test!! Scarey watching them go off alone for the first time, though, isn't it? Hope you are getting some rest tonight--I'm worn out just imagining doing as much cleaning as you've done today!

Rose Mary, Columbia Harbor House really IS one of the best places to eat at MK. My fave is the broccoli cole slaw. You really should try to get in there one of these trips!

Better get going, Dave has already headed for his pillow and I need some sleep too. Tomorrow is going to be hectic at the store as we have a shipment of 40-some boxes coming in that has to be unpacked and set out on the sales floor before 6PM. On top of that, we have 3 pages of markdowns to do between the time the store closes tomorrow nite and then re-opens at 8AM on Friday morning! Gotta admit, it's a little bit like Christmas every time shipment comes in, though! So nighty-night, Ya Ya Family! ya'll muchly!!! :grouphug:

Good morning everyone.....

Alyssa got home safetely last night - Jeffrey said the ride up was a bit hairy - in northern Mass - the Berkshires - had about 5 inches of snow. They got home around 11:30pm. She and Chris stayed up late watching a movie - very wierd to wake up in the middle of the night and hear her voice!! She is already up and out this morning - at work with her puppies and kitties!! We are going to Panera for lunch and then Barnes and Noble.

House is pretty clean - just need to clean upstairs bathroom and iron 3 sets of curtains.
Baking tonite...found a good recipe for corn bread/cranberry stuffing!!

Lets see....
Tara is packing kidlets....
Beth unbacking boxes and boxes of shipment....
JR Karen is shivering......hope that furnace guy is prompt.
Sherry - XBox heaven!! (Chris decided he'll stick with his regular XBox and dave for a car instead).
Elaine....looking for enough hours in the day still???? Hope things are well with you....
Nancy - thanks fo the exchange name.....
Lily....Todd.....Rosemary.....Alan.....Pam and all..... and :grouphug:

More later.....

good morning gang!

JRKaren...I missed the part about your furnace last night. I'm sorry I hope they can get it fixed so you don't have to freeze until you leave for WDW!! I have my JR shirt all packed and ready to wear!!

Paula...glad Alyssa made it home and that Chris' driving test went well. Question for you...where do they tell the kids to put their hands now? I know it used to be "10 and 2" but where do they tell them now? (that's one of those stupid random things that pops into my head when I'm driving and have no one to ask while i'm driivng!!)

Beth...yes E is duffle bag size (my E not the E here!! :teeth: ) but he weighs a ton! they would make me pay more to put him in the cargo hold since he is such a dang moose!! Jarrod is the light weight but he has grown an inch in 6 months so I'm not sure he could fit in the suitcase!! have fun with your boxes at work today!!

RM...you are all programmed now!!! woo hoo! And I think we are doing Epcot on sunday night because we have ADRs for LeCellier if I'm not mistaken...I would have to check my handy dandy Passporter book to be sure and I don't have that with me!!

Suzanne...you just have to let us knwo what day you will be there and even if we have done a toast to Germany I'm sure we can toast it again!!

gotta run and see if my doc can see me earlier today!!

back later!
tara

Good question about the driving Tara - I asked the same thing - they still do "10 and 2" - byt ny "hand over hand" for turning the wheel - something about air bag deployment.

The only restricition in our state is that he can
t have more than 1 person under 21 in the car with him that are not family members.

Good Morning!

Going to Jared's school in a bit for his Honor Roll ceremony.

Todd, no, the boys don't know about the XBox yet. Its a Christmas gift. :)
It came out the 22nd. So, the stores opened at midnight Monday night.

Well that was fun... just as I was getting online to say hi, we lost power

Probably local construction or something like that.

Karen, hope you get heat soon! Not a good time to be w/o!

Suzanne, yay for the good schedule!!!! I hope we can meet up at least once or twice!!

Tara, I like how you think! I'd definitely join in on the cake part... btw, is your cell phone number the same as last year?
Rose Mary... same question for you ;)
Suzanne I can't remember how old yours would be either... hmmm... I need to get my cell phone out and look.

Bethie, don't work too hard before you go to WDW. We don't want you wearing yourself down and getting sick. Btw, any specific birthday plans?

Paula, so glad to hear that Alyssa made it home safely! I hope you enjoy the weekend together!

Tara, I bet I am about the size of my duffle bag... though it's about 25 inches long :rotfl:

Well if y'all do wind up at Epcot on Sunday do call me! I have a feeling we'll be around there for some of that!

As for the no hand over hand also supposedly if you crash you are more likely to break a wrist with the hands like that. Still 10 & 2 here from last I knew

Sherry, I bet the boys will love the present!

Good morning.

Glad Alyssa made it home safely. I remember those days  Christin drove herself the last couple of years and I was a nervous wreck until she got home.
Enjoy your time with her home.
This will be our first Thanksgiving with no kids here

I've heard that hand placement for cars with air bags is now 9 and 3.

JRKaren...hope you are warm by now.

Beth...enjoy the crazy days of retail ;)
Christin goes to work at 5 on Friday  (and she isn't the first in).

 Rose mary, Sherry and everyone else.

Thought this was cute ;)
President Bush made the traditional pardon of a
Thanksgiving turkey yesterday. But this bird didn't head to some
petting zoo. It went to Disneyland. The 35-pound Tom Turkey is the
grand marshal of the Disneyland Thanksgiving Day parade. And the
big bird flew west in style. After the reprieve on the White House
lawn, the turkey and its alternate were given a police escort to a
Washington-area airport. From there they flew first-class to Los
Angeles. After the parade duties are over, the turkeys will live out
their days at a Disneyland ranch.

Maybe in central Ohio. My kids were both taught 9 and 3. I didn't realize that the reason was the airbag.

FYI - My hand was at 6 when my airback went off many years ago. Don't quite recall what the other hand was doing. I got a nasty rugburn on the back of my hand and the insurance company totalled the car.

I learned 10 and 2 but I believe in high school/college I was driving with my knees as much as anything else. ;)

Hi y'all. :wave2:

Hey gang!!

Elaine...my number is the same as last year...hasn't changed since I got the thing 6 or 7 years ago!! hehe Would it be cheaper for you to fly if Luis carried you on the plane as a carryon bag???

Alan...driving with your knees...that's kind of scary isn't it!! I can't understand how you can see the road with your legs in the air and your head in the seat. :confused3 But then again you are in alabama so things may be different there :teeth: !!!!

Nancy...sorry you have no live kids to come for T-giving...I guess your BAB crew probably doesn't eat that much anyway!! hehehe

Paula...thanks. I usually have one at 6 and the other on a Diet coke!! :teeth:
I agree with the limit of people under 21. I think it is too difficult for the kdis to drive and talk to their friends..i know we had trouble when we were riding around (the fact that everyone was signing and you had to look at the other person might have had something to do with it!! :rotfl: )

I can leave work at 150 today...that is not soon enough. I want to go home now!! I charged the iPOd last night so I CAN cut the grass..it's funny how the lawn mower won't work if my iPod isn't charged! But mom said not to worry about it since we will probably get some good frost in while we are gone and it will all die anyway....okay, no problem for me!! I can live with that.

Mom wants me to tkae the dog to the kennel so she will hate me instead of her!! Great, hate to think what she will do to my room when she gets back!!

okay, gonna go use the restroom and get ready for my next group of goons...uh, I mean wonderfully bright, warm, and witty children ;)

John,
It's 9 and 3 here in PA as well. (I still do the 10 & 2 thingie, though!!)

DD got home at 5:00 pm last night - just before the snow and ice hit. We all went to Red Lobster and then to Dick's Sporting Goods - roads were pretty hairy!

I am still working on those invoices! :guilty:

Sounds like everyone is gearing up for fun at WDW! :goodvibes

Sherry - DS is hoping the 360 will go down in price in a few months - funny how his priorities have changes since he became a car owner! :rotfl: If the 360 had come out 8 months ago, he would have been standing in line with Junior!! :)

WooHoo to Chris for the great driver's test score!

Elaine - are you packed yet?

Nancy - got my Ya Ya name for the exchange! I am plotting my roadkill package defense even as we speak!! :rotfl2:

Well - I have to go and crack on those books!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
