HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAVE & SUZANNE!!!!

For those waiting for a CP update, the boys had a blast. Except Jonathan did have a headache and tummy ache, but he still had fun. Jordan did all the big coasters, except Dragster, so he's happy. Julian rode Blue Streak. Bad part is, after getting home, Julian was hungry, so he went to make Easy Mac..........but......he FORGOT THE WATER. OMG, there was thick smoke ALL OVER THE KITCHEN. It was horrible. We were coughing and hacking, Tinkerbell was howling, it was a mess. My house STILL smells like burnt macaroni. I have tried everything.

Boys are gone again. BIL & SIL came over this morning and picked them up. They are spending the night. So I have an entire evening to myself again. Gonna head to the library in a bit and pick up some movies that came in and watch one of them (the boys and Junior already saw it) tonight. Might pick up some dinner and then just veg at home and enjoy the peace & quiet.

Sherry, it is perfectly acceptable to be a little worried about your child in an amusement park if you don't know how they will "handle" the ride and you not be there for them.

afternoon all!! back from my stuff. Got Jar two pairs of shoes (they are identical so matching will be easy) and they were on sale AND we had a coupon for $15 off so for two pairs of Riddell shoes i spent $22!!

I'm tired today and can't figure out why. So i'm gonna go veg for a bit!! I'll be back later for a better ketchup!!

Whew!! Day is done and I got everything accomplished except for the exchange shopping! Dave's plans for today included work, play with his laptop, be thrilled over the Mickey Mouse laptop case I got for him, enjoy a steak and potato salad dinner, help me shop for a gift for his son, and then enjoy a HUGE piece of carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. Now he is back to playing with his laptop!!

I almost fergot!! We have an exciting weekend planned, for once! Which is why we had to shop for a gift for Dave's son. We'll be flying to Atlanta Saturday afternoon! YAY, a little getaway!! And for one of the best reasons in the world!!! Dave's son, who will be 29 next week, is getting baptized on Sunday!! We are so excited and happy for him and can't believe I actually managed to finagle both days off so we could go. Yeah, we hafto come home Sunday night, but at least we'll be present for this momentous occasion. Got him a beautiful European leather-covered Life Applications NIV Study Bible and we're going to try to get his name engraved or embossed or whatever on it.

OK, that's my exciting news for the week. Probably for the month!!

Seriously I hope he enjoys the rest of the day (what is left). Oh and how wonderful for Dave's son!!!
