Good morning all! I hate when I cannot sleep in on a weekend. Been up for a while now. I still have that stupid headache too. Not sure what is causing it.

In a while I'll make Luis go out and cut the grass since we are rain free for a while today. After tomorrow we will be seeing more sun!!! I am so happy since I am tired of this stuff!

Nancy, I took a whole bunch of them yesterday too. It was a great way to kill some time for me. Some were really funny too!

Not sure what else we are doing, but if I have my way, I won't be near my computer much, so I hope you all have a great day!

Elaine to answer your question - she did not get her hait cut at all...yes the distance has always been an issue.....still don't know what's going on - she told me yesterday that it was defiitely over and that she was seeing him today to say goodbye - then came downstairs later and said no she wasn't going - wasn't ready - then I heard her talking to him again and crying - then she stayed up most of the night.....

Last night was a no-brainer night - I watched Americas Home Videos and "Hoodwinked" - DH had gone fishing - so so Sci Fi Friday!!

Unsure what's up for today - sun is shining - gotta get laundry going....

Paula, my heart is breaking for Alyssa. I hope she does get things worked out with Ryan. Sounds like it just wasn't meant to be. Just try to discourage her from a hair cut immediately after a break up. I found that to be a terrible idea

Kimmie, I went out to a mall today in search of skirts. I figure I am too old for these short things I found. Didn't get even close to finding anything in my size that was long enough for me w/o being below the knee. Oh well...

Paula, big and lots of for Alyssa as she works thru this. And for you too as you have to watch and can't do the mama "kiss it and make it better" thing! Sometimes, I think that hurts worst of all--when we just can't make it all better for our kids.

Nancy, I'm so glad the windows are all finished, now! When will the carpet be coming in, now? Did you pick out the bathroom tile today? I would LOVE to have tiles like the ones at VWL in the 1-bedroom.

hi gang,

i'm exhuasted. i was up at 6am getting ready for the yard sale. It was worth it, made just under $200 after cleaning up (the yard and me) we hit Lowes and bought the paint and got prices of wood. i told mom that I would like to replace all the wood in the two rooms with a clear varnish finish in golden oak. So we went with a dark shade of the walls so that the wood would pop a little more. I'm not a fan of painted wood and my brother was trying to tell me how expensive the wood would be and that I should go with a painted wood. NOT! i told him I'd sell one of my kids before I put painted wood BACK up!

Anyway, got the paint, a few odds and ends and went out to dinner and ahve a couple of dollars left over.

I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow so i'm going to bed now my eyes won't stay open now!!!

Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday!

Saving this from page 3.

I got up to go to church and as I was walking there, had a massive coughing fit, so turned around and came home. I'm still going into little coughing fits every five or ten minutes. No church for me today.

I'm working on uploading some pictures from my trip. I now have a new picture in my signature from my trip. Gotta have Scotty and Ray (and Tommy too) in my signature My trip sure was a load of fun. I was missing Disney World and Jellyrolls before I even left.

I booked my flight for my December trip yesterday (airfare from Boston up about 40% from last year--ouch). Is anyone else planning a December trip again this year?
